Despite a successful run catching 'ants' on his owner's smartphone, an African bullfrog soon tires of the virtual snacks and bites down on something more substantial ...
A video of a smartphone owner teasing his pet frog with the Ant Crusher game on his mobile handset has been viewed more than 2.5 million times since it was uploaded on December 18.
However it may be the frog's revenge rather than its digital gaming prowess that has earned the amphibian its online following.
As the ants fail to materialise in the frog's mouth, it finally takes its game rage out on its owner, biting down on his thumb.
The man can be heard shouting out in pain as the frog attaches itself his digit.

Here's a video of a bearded dragon playing the same game. The lizard seems to be much better behaved than the bullfrog, not to mention a better player.

It’s a 1 minute version of “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” with a frog as Caesar.

Lol! Poor little froggie!
That dude got off easy with just a bite on his thumb, in my opinion.
A dozen warts be upon him!

The lizard keeps looking at his owner as if to say “there’s something wrong with your ant machine.”
