Well, here's three pictures. I did the lights yesterday and added a couple ornaments...
The Tree sans decorations
First Two Ornaments
My SIL got this ornament for me in '09 during a trip to Washington DC. It contains the seals of all the branches of the Armed Forces of the United States of America. It is a 3 dimensional ornament and will always be my favorite.

Luv, I remember some of ‘those kinds of days’ from last year. When I hear its coming, I try to get out and prepare as sometimes we don’t know how long the weather will keep us shut in. I’m a coward and do not drive in that weather!

The lights look so pretty, Dave, and that's a great ornament. No wonder you're proud of it! When all the ornaments are on the tree, it will be beautiful. I love lots of ornaments! I so admire your attitude!!

I don’t blame you for not wanting to drive in stormy weather. I have told my manager that I won’t make my 20-mile each way drive to work if it’s icy or snowy. People around here are idiots on bad roads. LOL!

Never Too Busy
December 2, 2011
College students rent a house from my sister and her husband. One night, a thief attempted to break in. When the young woman living there called the police to tell them that a break-in was in progress, the operator responded in an unusual way: Youll have to call back in the morning. Were just too busy right now. That response was very disturbing! The young woman had done the right thing by calling the police, but for some reason her plea for help was disregarded. That kind of indifference is upsetting.
But indifference never happens when we go to God in prayer. We may not always feel that God is listening, but He is. He cares, and He will respond. The Bible reminds us that we can take comfort in the fact that our God is deeply concerned with what concerns our hearts: The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth (Ps. 145:18). When we call out to Him, we will never get a disinterested response.
Rather than distancing Himself from us when we cry to Him, our heavenly Father draws close to us in our time of need. He is never too busy for His childs prayersHe hears us when we call.
For answered prayer we thank You, Lord,
We know Youre always there
To hear us when we call on You;
Were grateful for Your care. Branon
Youll never get a busy signal on the prayer line to heaven.
Read: Psalm 145:8-21
The L
ord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.
Psalm 145:18

Happy Friday, Dave.
You were in my thoughts and prayers yesterday. Will you have a total of 6 chemo treatments? I’m praying that the anti-nausea meds work. Also praying that the chemo kills those cancer cells.

We've got 6 chemo treatments scheduled. So far no nausea. Then it's off to South Sacramento for surgery. The cancer penetrated too deep into the wall so it must be removed.
I'm feeling pretty good. Just gonna take it easy today.
