Here’s Wishing y’all a very happy New Year’s Eve.
Staying home tonight like we usually do. Usually get a few phone calls around mid-night.
Probably a Good Idea!
Happy New Year!
LOL! I must confess - I never, never go out after dark, anymore - and ESPECIALLY on the biggest paw-tee night of the year - with all those crazy drivers!
No, I will watch the ball fall in NYC, and then go to bed....as it will be 10pm here.
Today, I went shopping, and picked up groceries for the meal I have fixed every New Years Day for FIFTY years - spare ribs, saurkraut, black eyed peas and mashed potatoes. My grandma made this every first day of the new year (for over 70 years), and so did my mom.
My daughter called last night and wanted a reminder of how to cook the ribs - it looks like she is continuing the tradition!
What a lovely neice! (And “Auntie” is lookin’ good, too!)
Dave, I’m wishing you and your lovely family, a New Year packed full of wonderful surprises! Most sincerely, wishes for good health, peace, relaxation, lots of good food and more than enough love to go around! Happy New Year!
So glad you're enjoying the time with family.
I see you made the cake! YUM! I'm sure it's always a big hit!
Hope you're feeling OK. Prayers continue.
A Happy, Blessed, 2012 to you and your family!
I'm going to do black eyed peas but I DON'T do saurkraut (yuk) and what's his name don't do spare ribs..lol. Love them black eyed peas.
Thank you, Dave.
We are having a perfect blue skies, 74 degree day this last day of the year..That will change tomorrow..getting colder. It was a joy to be out and about this afternoon.
Wishing you and yours New Year’s Blessings..
Thank you, (((teenie)))
LOL, M-L, that picture accompanied one of my favorite ‘jokes’ called, “Forbidden Love”, where there was a horrible storm, the electricity went out, lightening was flashing, thunder was rumbling and crashing, and she knew he was across the room on the couch, because she could hear him breathing. She was so terrified, sitting there, alone. Then came the biggest thunder boom she had ever heard - and she ran across the room to him, in the darkness. He pulled her up to him, and embraced her, and at that moment all they heard....................was the click of the camera.
Oh, Meg, I’ll take that little guy ‘Paw-tee-ing’ ANY time!
Hope you have a peaceful and relaxing day tomorrow, and a very BLESSED upcoming New Year!!!
Happy New Year to you, too, Amy - and the whole JUST family! Big New Year’s Hugs to you ALL!!!
LOL, Teenie! I just LOVE your New Year Kitteh! (But, from the expression on his face, I can’t tell if he is laughing, or getting ready to get rid of a ‘fur ball’. *grin*
LOL...that is PRECISELY from whence I obtained it!
Happy
New
Year
To all those at Amy’s Place!
Aw! Thanks for posting the sweet picture! I think you are an Angel!
Happy New Year FRiend !
(((HUGS)))
Most likely...laughing...as the carpet is about to receive the unwanted gift of a fur ball! :)
