Afew days ago there was a posting of sites to get Fox on your computer, I didn't mark it and now I need it. If you have a site would you please post?
Did you check to see if it was plugged in?
foxnews.com
There were listings of sites that ran live feeds of Fox news on your computer. I should have mark it so I could go back to it, but didn’t.
http://tvpc.tv/Channel.php?ChannelID=2458
The TVPC site has several Fox News feeds (find the ‘channel list’ page to see them) - but I just verified that this is a ‘working’ feed, right now....
HTH
Are you looking for Firefox download?
Are you looking for a direct link to FOX news?
Are you looking for that link to all the channels including HBO, Cinemax, Disney, History channel, etc etc?
Are you looking for that link to the movie site that has pretty much every movie ever made (including the ones just out at theaters, as well as every episode of every TV show like Seinfeld, Cops, etc etc?
Or are you looking for that site that has 100 HD movie channels with no commercials?
I’ve seen all of these linked at one time or another and most have FOX news or other news channels within them.
A troll. If he was clearer in what he wanted, the answers could be more helpful. Trolls never make any sense.
are you logged in?
A troll that signed up 11 1/2 years ago?
That’s a determined, forward thinking troll.
Value investor?
thank you
It was something on Justin.tv. BUT, after watching it for a few days, I received a particularly virulent virus on my machine. I don’ go there anymore.
“Technical Support; may I help you?”
“Yes, well, I’m having trouble with my computer.”
“What sort of trouble?”
“Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away.”
“Went away?”
“They disappeared.”
“Hmm. So what does your screen look like now?”
“Nothing.”
“Nothing?”
“It’s blank; it won’t accept anything when I type.”
“Are you still in Word, or did you get out?”
“How do I tell?”
“Can you see the C: prompt on the screen?”
“What’s a sea-prompt?”
“Never mind, can you move your cursor around the screen?”
“There isn’t any cursor: I told you, it won’t accept anything I type.”
“Does your monitor have a power indicator?”
“What’s a monitor?
“It’s the thing with the screen on it that looks
like a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it’s on?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, then look on the back of the monitor and find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that?”
“Yes, I think so.”
“Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if it’s plugged into the wall.”
“Yes, it is.”
“When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one?”
“No.”
“Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable.”
“Okay, here it is.”
“Follow it for me, and tell me if it’s plugged securely into the back of your computer.”
“I can’t reach.”
“Uh huh. Well, can you see if it is?”
“No.”
“Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over?”
“Oh, it’s not because I don’t have the right angle - it’s because it’s dark.”
“Dark?”
“Yes - the office light is off, and the only light I have is coming in from the window.”
“Well, turn on the office light then.”
“I can’t.”
“No? Why not?”
“Because there’s a power failure.”
“A power... A power failure? Aha, okay, we’ve got it licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff your computer came in?”
“Well, yes, I keep them in the closet.”
“Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from.”
“Really? Is it that bad?”
“Yes, I’m afraid it is.”
“Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them?”
“Tell them you’re too stupid to own a computer.”
i don’t understand when someone asks for help, why there are so many nasty comments...Free Republic was a good site a few years ago, seems not so much anymore.
Post 17 was a joke, not intended to be a directed insult at you.
I hope you found what you were looking for, though your question wasn’t specific enough to answer right off.
(”Fox” News or Fire”Fox”?)
Fox News...there were listings of sites that you could watch Fox News live on your computer. Sorry if I took your posting wrong. I’ll learn to mark postings that I might need later.
