From the looks of the pictures, Communists never change.

Now someone at UofM will be trying to put them into textbook for so they can be used in business economics classes.

I think this might represent the intellectuals and artists who were eliminated in the Cultural Revolution.

GGG managers are SunkenCiv, StayAt HomeMother & Ernest_at_the_Beach
Of course, they'll only display 4% of it because of the line on the color bar. :') Thanks cripplecreek.

Just adding to the catalog, not sending a general distribution.

To all -- please ping me to other topics which are appropriate for the GGG list.

First thing that comes to mind is how much that Obey guy who did the Obama posters and other lib agitprop was influenced by this style.

It is worthwhile to note that Professor Rummel of the University of Hawaii puts the democide deaths during the Cultural Revolution at around 7,731,000. Democide of course being mass murder by government.

Once totalitarians have power they no longer have use for revolutionaries. In fact, the revolutionaries that bring them to power become a threat and need to be eliminated.

Brownshirts were among those targeted on the night of the long knives in Germany. Che Guevera fled Cuba after helping Castro gain power because he knew that Castro would need to kill him.

That print says more than just about Mao, or communism, or China.

It says something, unfortunately, about the intellectual and moral frailties of humanity.

True enough.

No matter how many times we see various forms of communism collapse, somebody always thinks they have the secret that will make it work. Unfortunately that secret is always the same, the elimination of those who disagree.

Even in China where communism has held on for a long time, its still slowly but surely collapsing under the relentless assault of capitalistic freedom.
