I think the Silent Majority is taking note, but many new people are being convinced erroneously that we are somehow evil for making a once-empty place the best place on Earth.

I'm thinking the election will be the trigger. No matter who wins, the other side will go ballistic. We are two separate nations occupying the same land. We need to start thinking seriously about separation before things get real ugly. If Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia can split peacefully, so can we. One nation, under G-d? Not so sure these days...

His followers despise and reject the work ethic and true spirit of American freedom and justice, and want the fruits of *your* labor, and they want it yesterday.

The occupying protesters being egged on by the President really bothers me.
If they would go home, have a life and then come back to protest—like the Tea Party—I wouldn’t think twice about it.

I’ve been really reticent to ascribe actual malice to Obama, but as things have been coming out over the last few months, it really feels like he wants to ruin this nation.
Fast and Furious, gutting our military, spending the nation into default and now supporting leftist street protests, it sure looks like he is really trying to destroy our nation to prepare it for a good old-fashioned socialist revolution.

FTR, it was Germany that destabilized the former Yugoslavia back in 1991, and afterwards Clinton was induced to do their dirty work for them; and now the former Yugoslavia has been carved up between the European Union and Russia (now doesn't that sound familiar?)
Peaceful?? NATO bombed the **** out of the former Yugoslavia! And there was horrific fighting - still is for all we know, between ethnic groups in the the Balkan areas. If things get that bad, forget peaceful - it'll be a bloodbath

BS. Did God design man to have feelings or not? If He did, why do you ditch them so? There is a place for cold logic and there is a place for feelings. The founding fathers could never have won the Revolutionary war on logic alone. That war was won with the heart and a large dose of Providence.

I think there is a false dichotomy sometimes believed on this site that Conservatives think and Liberals feel. I wouldn't consider anyone to be a true conservative that doesn't feel.
It might be the case that liberals feel without thinking, but the opposite that conservatives think and don't feel is definitely false.
I'd even argue that liberals feel inadequately. Take abortion. Liberals feel for the mother who feels trapped with a child she doesn't want. Conservatives feel for both the mother and the child and say that killing the child is not an acceptable solution.
Liberals feel for their special interests but fail to feel for the good of the whole.
See it's not that liberals are driven by feelings, it's that their feelings are inadequate. Many of the left are driven by greed, envy, lust, and hatred. They have failed to truly love.
I think they are trying and will not succeed.

Do you really want to base your thinking/feelings on, the United States of America is going to have a a full on Civil War again between now and Nov, 2012, on "feelings"? I don't. I see no evidence of that.

FWIW-
But how do we reach people who are so far gone that their first reaction to any disagreement is violence? We now have multiple generations that not only expect and demand entitlement, but literally would not be able to survive without it. We may have to stay unified, but we will collapse internally nevertheless.
