Times are tough, and money is tight, so tips should go down, maybe 5 percent for good service. But, since this is California we are talking about, the government should pay the tips.

Yes, They deserve more money! 1.31%
No, Keep the standard the same! 92.04%
I don’t tip at all... 6.65%
Just more extortion.
I'm with you, and think it is stupid to base tips on the amount of your tab. It should be based on the amount of time put into preparing and serving it. Why give a $10 tip for a large pizza and a $5 tip for a medium pizza, when the work is the same? Though I give standard tips, I never saw the logic. If anyone deserves good tips, it is the pizza delivery folks, who suffer all kinds of weather, barking dogs, and risky neighborhoods.
Read the comments at the link. Some of them are a real hoot, especially the clowns that try to defend it.

We always tip them well.... but first they have to get by my dog and attack geese. ;>)
Just getting by the geese would be worth a couple bucks. They scare me more than dogs, not to mention the poo! ;)
LOL.... This is the first time I’ve raised geese. My 3 African geese are known for their guarding inclinations.
All 3 are about 6 months old and they are starting to show an interest in visitors, but they are extremely friendly to those they already know.
I started with 2 chickens 1 1/2 years ago. We now have 60 birds LOL
I am having a ball with these comedians.
USA restaurant owners need to pay their help a USA based market wage and not like many of the greedsters in business who pay a Mexican free market wage within the USA. These employers should be in prison breaking rocks instead of foisting their costs upon the rest of us.
Don’t push the bill on to the patrons. I may get a bill for paying tips, but if I ever do it will be the end of my patronage to that restaurant.
It’s a unfair tax on gays.
Since I have no desire to go there, I vote yes.
