At the end of the speech yesterday, Mr. Obama turned back and shook hands with the vice president and then to the people on his left. Mr. Speaker was clapping his hands all this time and the President it seems did not even acknowlede the Speaker of the House and walked away from the podium.
Did anyone else notice that? May be I am mistaken.

So, why was boehner clapping? Clapping means that you appreciate and approve of what you are seeing and/or hearing.

Nope. There’s not enough gold in Fort Knox to make me watch that lying son of a bitch on my TV in my own home! Boehner shouldn’t shake his hand...he should have spit in his eye by telling him that he wasn’t going to allow the current resident of 1600 PA AVe to use Congress as a campaign prop. Screw him!

The Speaker had forgotten to don his arm length rubber glove, so Obama’s rudeness was a good thing.
As for whatever the VP gets from Obama - who cares?

Decorum, I suppose. Probably the expected (and polite) thing to do after the Prez speaks...

That would be consistent with Obama’s street thug mentality and penchant for “dissing” political opponents (enemies).

Kind of like when he arrived in Texas and ignored Perry a few months ago. This guy is a jive ass talking street thug leading an army of parasites, nothing more.
I used to call him a three card Monte dealer but that would be a step up.

He did, when he first entered the podium, and again when he was announced by the Speaker.
