I will add The Wicker Man ca.1970, after some good advice from FReepers. Just stay the heck away from the remake. Puke.

Shawshank was a pretty good movie tho I can’t stand either of the two stars. I will admit they are good actors tho.
Also they just had to slip in the bit about the jerk Warden being a devout Christian.

"We just got Netfliks so I need to make some notes. :D"Go through the "Genre" lists and rate all the movies you have seen. That will help the computer to form a list of possible choices for you, and it will come up (different each time) every time you go to netflix. I've been a member since shortly after Netflix started. Love it.

The point was that he was not a devout Christian. He was a hypocrite.

My opinion is they wanted to cast Christians as hypocrites.

“No Tiem For Sargeants” Andy Griffith and Don Knots and many other big names. Funniest movie I have ever seen.

Tombstone was good, but Lonesome Dove was better. Great shoothout in another Duvall flick was “Open Range”.

There were two versions.
One was a TV serial and one was a movie. Both had Andy and Barney. Most of the other characters were different.
Good choice
