ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Sarah Palin is a grandmother again.

Kyla Grace Palin was born Saturday to Palin's eldest son, 22-year-old Track Palin, and his new wife, 21-year-old Britta Hanson.

Hanson's mother, Elizabeth Hanson, confirmed the birth and told The Associated Press that the baby girl is "exquisite." At birth, the littlest Palin weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces (3.14 kilograms), according to the maternal grandmother.

"She's adorable," she said Wednesday, adding that the family is doing well. "We're all extremely excited about her arrival."

Sarah Palin, a former Alaska governor and the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, is mulling a possible run for the presidency in 2012. She has not made a public comment about the new addition to the family.

Two questions come to mind however, but I bet any objective conservative reading the above excerpted paragraphs can guess what those are without me having to spell them out.

Yep. Wondered about those things myself (and was about to ask out loud until I saw your post). I like your way better. No one here has the answers anyway.

Glad he did the right thing and married the girl, just barely.

My two eldest didn't even do "just barely". Years later, it's still a thorn in my side.

Home schooling is exploding. Parents are late to the game. My kids aren’t sending there kids to government schools. Liberalism is a sickness. We’re finally fighting back.

Amen, Indy. We took our eldest back from the government indoctrinators when he was in kindergarten, and never looked back. We've now been home schooling for almost ten years. It's the right thing to do, if you really love your children.

So many stories lost. But not really lost. They are all recorded somewhere.

Deep. And true.

Have one great grand daughter that I get up at 4am, 5 to 6 days a week, to take care of.”

How lucky that little girl is to have such a wonderful person in her life. Having a little one around keeps you grounded and makes you realize what is really important. She will treasure the time you spent building memories with her.

they were pros at avoiding direct questions...”

I was adopted at age 3 by a cousin. What happened to my mom? I think I had an older brother but no one would talk about him. I asked so many times but now everyone who would have known is long gone. I was always lectured about not airing the family’s dirty laundry in public. I had some serious questions too about genetic issues, particularly when I began having children and never understood why no one would talk about these issues.

Track is the groom, not Tripp. Tripp is Bristol’s toddler and is Trig’s nephew.

Thank goodness they had a girl and gave her a pretty name. I was afraid that they would have a boy and name him “Trick” or “Tran” or “Train” or some other weird name.

My 2 cents....

..It is a little disappointing that Track didn't respect his wife to be, his mom or his sister Bristol ....and wait for the marriage bed to consumate their longing to be together....

...his sister, Bristol, has really tried to make amends for her rebellious behavior and it would have been nice if Track had taken note....

...Sarah, I'm sure, has tried hard to set good moral precepts in this family..........( two in my own small town....a dear pastor ...and also a headmaster for our Christian school, were heartbroken to know their daughters had been sexually rebellious (one resulting in a pregnancy)......yes, it happens in the most caring families.

...I wish only the best for this couple and thankful they married....

...for what it's worth, I consider Ronald Reagan one of our greatest Presidents....but his two biological children, Ron and Patty, are a disgrace to his name...

..only his adopted child, Michael, carries Reagan's good name and values forward.
