There are many here on Free Republic that absolutely love our "Fru-babies". We post pics and follow each other, well I thought it would be terrific if we post the pictures of our 'babies'.
I don't know about you all but mine 'get me through' these nightmarish days. They love me no matter what. They are there and want to be with me no matter what. That includes the way I now look in the mornings! LOL!
Show YOUR babies here... :) Here are a few of mine both past and present...
No real story to tell about Apple, except that she chose us at the shelter. :) She's about three years old and we've had her for almost a year now. We lubz our kitteh...
Stunning, my favorite cat color. I can’t ever have one as long as I keep my husband (and I do like him). But that’s the color I would have.
Determination will solve the situation! lol Can’t wait to see pics :)
I can tell by her posture that Miss Hissy Slashy is not to be trifled with!
I love that last pic! Good job. She’s a smart one and a beauty (and a ham? lol)
I have never been able to get a decent picture of that cat. Maybe someday she’ll calm down. She is a sweet thing, and she loves her pets. She doesn’t even break the skin much when she bites anymore.
We’re making progress.
Aww what a baby. They seem to be the sweetest natured of all the breeds. Well that and collies to which I am partial.
3 breeds I would love to have: Collie; Golden and Tervuren but like you, location is a hinderance. I hope your circumstance changes so you can once again have more than one.
They do make life tolerable and worth it. Thx for sharing her bry.
I do not like squirrels at all; they ruined my van so much it would not pass inspection. However, just love these cute pictures, especially the soldier one.
I love that name.
LOL! Trump is rich enough to afford a better hair piece.
Rates right up there with Honeypickle. :)
Oh its good enough to see that he was a sweetie. Some of our pets really leave an impression don’t they? 10 years and you still miss and love him; says alot.
My collie Gremlin is like that for me. All these years later, I still get choked up over his death. He was such a special guy; the protector and herder of all the kids in the neighborhood. He was a large Collie and when the kids would get out toward the street he would get between them and the street and throw his hip into the kid’s legs pushing them back. It was really something. He had no teeth in the front and on the bottom but he took down a doberman that strayed into our yard. THAT was something! Both animals were on their hind legs and that Collie sounded like a bear. *sigh* worse decision I made was having him put down. (He had hip displasia and was losing the use of his legs)
Thx for the pic bry. Sorry I got carried away about my old bud.
Meet Winchester. He is a ROCK STAR! Look at my poor coffee table!!! [Swallowed rock and gnawed table top- May 2011; rock stayed in his tummy for 2 weeks until he spit it up. Oi!]
btw is that a puppy snuggling up to him?
Very technically speaking, a coydog is the hybrid offspring between a male coyote and a female domestic dogs. In rigid technical terms, the hybrid of a male domestic and a female coyote is a 'dogote,', although in general use, or where parentage is in question, the term 'coydog' is commonly applied to either :-)
Just out of curiousity, how old was/is your van? Around 2004 or so, a lot of auto manufacturers started using soy based plastics for wiring insulation. I'd read accounts of rats and rabbits going after vehicle wiring and was wondering if squirrels were starting to get into the act as well!
LOL You are so nice. How about Ditter’s dog Hairy?
OF Course! The more the merrier!
OMG!! LOL LOL LOL!! Goof ball dog...lol Oh they can be so goofy. I bet you guys freaked when that boulder came out! And the expression on his face in that top pic is priceless. He seems to be saying..”What...me??” lol
You should see some of my furniture and not to mention the door frames around here...*sigh*. I raised Dachsunds for awhile. Talk about teeth on legs they were it!
Thanks for joining the “party”! :)
