There are many here on Free Republic that absolutely love our "Fru-babies". We post pics and follow each other, well I thought it would be terrific if we post the pictures of our 'babies'.
I don't know about you all but mine 'get me through' these nightmarish days. They love me no matter what. They are there and want to be with me no matter what. That includes the way I now look in the mornings! LOL!
Show YOUR babies here... :) Here are a few of mine both past and present...
LOL...somewhat less demonic huh? That’s good. Glad zia is still with us.
There is someone on here, you probably know who I’m thinking of, that has a cat named miss hissy scratchy.. or something like that. I saw that name one night and lol!
My angel baby, STELLA
and, not to be outdone, Beaux
This was one of my favorites when Beaux was just a little kitteh. Stella won't let him share her bed anymore.
How is his temperament?
What a beauty fk. Really...he looks like such a good baby.
LOL..that is the sweetest.
What gorgeous babies. That picture of Beaux is great! lol
You know, it occured to me sometime back, while looking at my own babies, what complete trust they have in us. To lay around sleeping with not a care in the world. No fear at all because they know we are protecting them...might sound silly but really, cats out in the wild have it rough. Always looking to be attacked etc etc.
You can see those beauties are completely relaxed...completely trusting in you.
Sweet Katy
Kates
Tabby. This is our Bengal who wandered into our barn one day when she was half grown. Don't know where she came from. Put out notices for lost cat. No reply.
Nikki. She was born on our patio from a feral cat. So cute we adopted her.
Tom. (original name, huh?) Our barn cat. He is a huge panther like cat who is a good ratter. Still, a sweet boy.
Thank you. He is a little doll. His sister, Honeypickle, just bosses him around. LOL
I am sorry. That’s one of my big girls, Rosey. Her sister is Keeley shown with little Juanita and their half brother shown with their father is Thunder. Than there is Miss Peaches who is our oldest and Mr. Murphy out last kitty.
lol...honeypickle..what an adorable name. How did you come up with that?
Wish I could take credit; but it was my husband. Honeypickle is sweet with a lot of sass.
LOL It’s better than his original name Cotten Ball which I have come to find out seems to be a favorite among the male species. We almost named her Girlie which both of us liked too; but I have never heard the name Honeypickle so we named her that.
What excellent pics of beautiful cats. Did you take those with a digital?
They are true beauties! Are they all alive now? Nikki looks like a sweetheart (well they all do really).
Looks like they need a referee! lol
Do they travel with you?
There are so many precious animals here. My Peaches, my little cattle dog, was thrown out of a car at 5 months and Juanita was out of one of those awful puppy mills. When Craig and I saw her; we knew she was ours. She had a big cherry eye which was fixed. She is a doll. She is our smallest and her best friend forever is our biggest dog, Thunder. It took a while for Peaches to get into the car; but now she rides shotgun like a true champ. She loves it.
Your post gave me goosebumps.... I saw pets I loved and remembered the people I love and lost all at once. Very special post to me..... Thank you... and you are from Missouri.... my Papa’s home... lost him last year.
