This is a fantastic shot!!! Or "shots" as the case may be.
I attempted to do this last year....set up the tripod, camera on timer, apperture wide open.
Promptly fell asleep. Tripod platform tipped, camera dipped...and I had 434 exposures of me sleeping, snoring, drooling!!
And no...I'm not posting the composite!!!

No posting...not of that particular composition. But I do look at is from time to time. In fact, any time I think I'm attractive to women. I take one look and realize that I'm not...not even close.
Saves me a lot of time and money too!

Is that the light of an airplane track to the right of the house, just on the tree line? If so, what is the break in the light trail about a quarter of the way on the left of it?
In any event, the firefly trails make for a neat effect on the tried and true long exposure night sky photo.

LOL. I went to Art College during the 70’s and your “Composite” sounds JUST like the “Performance Art” we were subjected to on a regular basis.
I was a Graphic Design major. It puzzled me that for four years I NEVER had a single class in “Graphics” or “Design”! LOL
Your “Construct” would win a Blue Ribbon! hahaha

Very neat picture... sort of a combination of stars and math.. all at the same time. Are the yellow “slashes” from another light source like a lightening bug or are the slashes from the star light?

It's amazing what beautiful and interesting pictures come out of happy accidents like this one.
I love fireflies. Their season is so short, though.
I swear I saw one in the snow a few years ago. It was before sunup, and I was out getting the newspaper. On the way back to the house, I saw a bright green light in the snow, the size, color, and luminosity of a firefly. Must have rolled over in his sleep, awakened, and come out to see if it were spring yet.
That was really cool.
