I was playing with the settings of my new IE. I was tired of seeing my search subjects on ads wherever I browsed. Somehow I cannot click some links. Like all the threads of FR.
What did I do wrong, and how can I fix it Please?

You may have malware or spyware. Download and use AVG, MalwareBytes, and SpyBot.

Your security settings might be too high.
If you right click, and then click open, does the link open for you?

I am and I just figured this out. It is opening the window in a new tab, pain in the bottom.
Now I have to figure out where it asks the question, do you want it to be in the same tab or open a new window.
Thanks folks.

You probably have a blocker installed. I’m betting you tried to block freepathon graphcis (fess up) and it went after any thread with the graphics in it..

Maybe go back to the last check point with system restore.

One possibility is to find “system restore” and pick a date prior to your changes. In XP it is under accessories, then system tools, them system restore.

Just refrain from clicking on anything. Sounds like a lot of work anyway.

My last Firefox upgrade knocked out most of my popular add-on’s - won’t do that again.

I have the same problem with a new install of Windows 7, 64 bit and IE-9.
Haven’t figured out why yet, but if you hit the refresh button (or F5 for windows that don’t have a refresh button) it normally goes ahead and works.
