I thought he was still in prison.
Not at all. They simply underestimated the stupidity and vapidity of the 12 jurors. Who woulda figured ALL TWELVE were brain-dead?
Wow.
I bet she sleeps a lot easier tonight :)
“And, even in this life yet. If Casey did murder this little girl, just like OJ, somewhere down he road, she will pay - one way or the other. And, not just in the after life.”
Time will tell.
The reason the trial was covered wall to wall is there is no other news.
Nothing is happening
They have beat the Republican candidates to death, they have beat the budget war to death ....... and are losing. The President is failing before their eyes,
Thus the trial........ by default
If there is no war, August is going to be miserable for the newsies
People seem to believe that "reasonable doubt" and "all doubt" are synonymous.
So you think a prosecutor would manipulate evidence to get an indictment from a Grand Jury, knowing that there is not enough evidence to convict the defendant before a petit jury? Unless this is done to get a plea agreement, the prosecutor would have intentionally gotten himself stuck with a losing case he would have to try. Why would they do that?
I agree that she will soon be walking the streets. No one will want to do anything with a child killer. So why won’t the jury talk to the press. Are they ashamed that they know they made a mistake & didn’t find her guilty? When will we know the names of the jury. They need to answer for their non-guilty verdict. Living in Florida the jury & the defense needs to pay us back for any monies due to them. Now anyone who commits murder in Florida will get a free pass.
Oddly enough, I was in Orlando (on vacation) during the jury selection process. The jurors were selected from the Clearwater area, due to pre-trial publicity. I watched a bit of coverage on local TV and read some of the articles in the Orlando Sentinel; as I recall, they had a difficult time finding a jury pool because many prospective jurors had formed opinions on the case.
Obviously, they came up with the biggest bunch of dolts this side of the OJ jury. Of course, we know why they found “The Juice” not guilty; Johnnie Cochran played the race card from start to finish and he put enough minorities on the jury to improve his prospects for success.
I’m at a loss to explain the decision of the Anthony jury. Yeah, there wasn’t a true smoking gun, but there was enough circumstantial evidence for a conviction, and there are lots of convicted killers who’ve been sent to death row on less evidence.
And making matters worse, Casey Anthony will get rich in the process. We can only hope that Ms. Anthony pulls an OJ, believes that she can’t be touched, and eventually slips up.
Glad that none of the jurors feel the same way you do.
No need to boil her, a large open flame will do
If you tape the mouth and nose, you don't need the chloroform.
I agree & she will probably die an outcast. We don’t want her here in Florida & please take Jose Baez with you.
You beat me to it...Ms. Anthony will blow through a large amount of money in short order, and pick up an addiction (or addictions) in the process. That career as a stripper and porn star is closer than most of us realize...
i wonder who did kill that little girl
oprah will get to the bottom of it... just like with oj.

There remains the possibility that someone else in her household or social circles (if not a complete stranger) actually killed the child. I was surprised that the defense did not ask, about everyone with whom Casey associated in the couple of months after the child went missing, “...is there any chance that he/she killed Caylee?”, instead of just suggesting it was someone in her family. They might have had a verdict last night instead of waiting until today.
Here’s a better question: where is Casey going to live? I can’t imagine the Anthony’s rolling out the red carpet for her. But housing won’t be a problem. The offers are pouring in as I write this and Mr. Baez will be more than happy to guide the next phase of her “career.”
I do have to wonder: what will the furure family gatherings look like?
