Good morning! It is a new month and a new thread! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Fourth of July, celebrating the founding of these United States, a glorious experiment in world government.
The National March by Sousa, conducted by Bernstein
May God bless America again.
Precisely.
Well, as usual we are totally helpless and they will do whatever they want and we will have to live with it.
I’m HORRIBLY worried that caligula is going to get what he wants and it will HARM America vastly.
Back in the 70s I paid a lot of attention to eschatology. Most of those purporting different hypotheses felt the US would be somehow diminished as a world power. I have been wondering if those thinkers were more correct than I thought at the time.
As I have said, putting it mildly, it is borderline treason.

We have a neighbor get to gether Friday night, I am going to give all the men a knife and Tracy is going to give something, forgot what it is.
Christmas morning I will have under the tree a wrapped orange and a wrapped apple. When Treva was young this is all her parents had to give her. They were very poor but the salt of the earth.
When Treva and I got married in the Church all the ladies were crying, I said to her, that sure was sweet, all the ladies crying and she commented they were not crying about that, they were crying because I was marrying you. Slap, right in the head. I sure hope she was kidding.
LOL That's our Toby.
he was a very special person & appreciated and loved by all.
Wondering how the services went. Now and then I regret not being filthy rich to be able to hop a plane & do things like... go to the funeral of a friend
A gentle passing in his sleep his daughter wrote... glad to hear that. Like my mom
Those of you on Facebook can go to daughter Tracy’s page & see photos of Treva.. she was beautiful!
Hello to all.. hope life is sweet & you appreciate those who pass through your life, if even briefly or cyber wise..
busy here. Lots of travel. Challenges being met fortunately so far. God is Good & I thank him for the graces at this time
Yes, Dolly. I saw the photos of Treva. Lovely.
Good.
Still sad about Toby, was so glad to read about gentle passing in his sleep. Well we made our difficult decision to go ahead and sell our calves early. They can’t do any more here with us, and we must now turn our attention to cows. All cows 10 years or older will be the first to be cut just not fair to them to keep in these conditions. I did not sleep last night and my heart is breaking, but I still serve an awesome God, and I know he watches over me!! We will survive, but my heart just breaks. Denco
My prayer are with you.
I am so sorry to hear about your hard times. I think about you often. Know you’re in my prayers.
God bless!
Sorry shocked and sorry to hear about Toby; may he rest in peace.
Dad is better. He hates taking medicine, but hopefully I've convinced him it's for the best. He said the other day he decided to live to see 90. My answer? That's only 3 years away! Sheesh!
God bless you all!
Good Wednesday morning.
guess what? I'm a little out of it myself at first. I get up at 7:00 am every morning! LOL!!
Not much posting here but I still check in every day. Husband and I seem to not be able to get to sleep at night, then sleep poorly, but when it is time to get up in the morning find that we would be able to sleep hard and well.
Weird. Just thought I would say Hello. I have #3 grandson (2 yrs. old) over to visit for a couple hours so fun morning. Went to birthday party for my youngest son a few days ago. Felt a ‘kick in the stomach” when I actually let myself realize he was turning 30. How did that happen?!?
So sorry re: the selling cattle decisions you have been forced to make. Brother/sister-in-law were injured in a car accident 7 months ago and are still in care centers. They had 20 or so cows they just sold now. Brother was most sad about having to sell one cow in particular-just a favorite of his. Anyway sure hope the situation improves soon for you. Sending hopeful thoughts from Washington state to you.
I used to say to my mother “ I’m turning 39! How did I get so old?” never thinking how she might feel! Dad says
i’m getting old now that I’m in my early 60’s. He has some nerve, he’s going on 87! LOL!! I sitll feel 39, BTW.
Good Tuesday morning!
It’s cooler here in Northern Illinois. Woohoo! We’ve had a lot of rain, too. Want to share that Denco, and anyone else who needs it.
HOB: I remember when I turned 50 and asking my Dad how that made him feel. He said, “I feel great!”
:)
illstillbe and oldngray?
Good morning all....life is being lived.....ups and downs....
