[Credit & Copyright: Antti Kemppainen] Explanation: Sometimes the sky itself is the best show in town. In January 2007, people from Perth, Australia gathered on a local beach to watch a sky light up with delights near and far. Nearby, fireworks exploded as part of Australia Day celebrations. On the far right, lightning from a thunderstorm flashed in the distance. Near the image center, though, seen through clouds, was the most unusual sight of all: Comet McNaught. The photogenic comet was so bright that it even remained visible though the din of Earthly flashes. Comet McNaught has now returned to the outer Solar System and is now only visible with a large telescope. The above image is actually a three photograph panorama digitally processed to reduce red reflections from the exploding firework.

Pretty cool !
Wonder what those triangles are on the back of the three guys sitting directly in the middle?

Delightful, Civ. I really like serendipitous coincidences.
I caught a meteor bisecting the tail of comet hally bop with night vision and a camcorder.
I really need to get that transferred to .jpg
I also got a lightning bolt bisecting as rainbow with a camcorder.
Sounds good!
That is a cool picture.
You got fireworks streaking through the sky.
A comet streaking through the sky.
Lightning streaking through the sky.
You would think that would be enough.
But there must be a bunch of nekked people streaking on the beach cause all the people in the bottom right are looking to the left...
They’re aliens.
Great Pic! Thanks!
I didn’t see, nor do I care. about the people on the bottom right. I’m not there.
Try to be quiet. Try not to yell. And see the turtle. Poking out of it’s shell.
bttt
Everything?
huh?
What are you talking about?
So THAT is how the spaceships know who to beam up...?
Exactly. And now you know why more women than men are taken.
Wut?
Oh.... wait.
Because they have three triangles (especially at the beach)?
