Nazis tried to train dogs to talk, read and spell to win WW2
The Telegraph ^ | May 24, 2011

The Germans viewed canines as being almost as intelligent as humans and attempted to build an army of fearsome 'speaking' dogs, extraordinary new research shows.

Hitler hoped the clever creatures would learn to communicate with their SS masters - and he even had a special dog school set up to teach them to talk.

The incredible findings show Nazi officials recruited so-called educated dogs from all over Germany and trained them to speak and tap out signals using their paws.

One mutt was said to have uttered the words 'Mein Fuhrer' when asked who Adolf Hitler was.

Another 'spoke' by tapping letters of the alphabet with his paws and was said to have speculated about religion and learnt poetry.

The Germans hoped to use the animals for the war effort, such as getting them to work alongside the SS and guard concentration camps to free up officers.

Ya know I lived in Germany and was taking German lessons.

I gotta tell ya, at first das deutsch sounded a lot like barking. So I got to figure das nazihundsprechenexperiment is not that far-fetched to me. I would pay money for a dog that could handle Schubert Lieder, though.

My Grandpa said that in his day, the worst thing you could call someone was “Satansbeest.”

And all that progress of science was forever lost to humanity. Thank the stupid Allies.

I’m glad Hitler and his cronies were insane. UFO nuts, occult nuts, dogs can talk nuts, Ron Paul supporter nuts...

All this kept them from (as explained very well by Spock) finishing their heavy water experiments which could have given them the a-bomb before us. And with his V-2 rockets could have taken the world.

Instead they create a talking dog, create the VW micro bus and hire him a stoner nanny to find ghosts, goblins, etc. to further their occultish takeover of the planet.

Let’s face it, Fred was clearly an Arian spy! Thelma was his Bond-like controller and Veronica was, well, his mistress.

Did we not use them in the Pacific during WWII?

I seem to recall reading something about it because they had an incredible ability to smell people who ate the standard oriental diet.

The Germans were going down the wrong road by using deuterium (heavy water) as a moderator. The allied efforts used specially produced graphite for both their reactor designs, and didn’t switch over to “heavy water” moderators for the plutonium plants until after the war.

If any dog could learn to read, spell, and talk, it would be a GSD...As for dachshunds, the human race should be grateful they don’t have thumbs. If they did, we’d all be doomed. Smart, manipulative, domineering, aggressive, and sickeningly cute is a dangerous combination.
