Devotion I am working on.
FEARFUL HEART
“Say to those who are of a fearful heart, “Be strong, fear not!” Isaiah 35:4
When you are in the hospital, or are visiting the hospital room of someone you care about deeply, this can be a time that is charged with emotion. Many times, we face these difficulties with great fear.
With God’s help, we can be strong and not have any fear for ourselves or for others.
When you have a health challenge, take it to God in prayer. Attune yourself to the Divine healing power of God. God is your Creator that gave you life, and this same Creator can give you new life. This renewing, revitalizing power is continuously at work, in and
through you, strengthening and perfecting every cell. Center your faith in this life-giving power and let go of anxious, fearful thoughts. There is no condition more powerful than God’s healing activity.
If there are loved ones or friends who have a need for health and wholeness, pray for them, knowing that with them and within them is the life-giving power of God. Whatever the condition, whatever the appearance, you have faith to know that they are one with God. The healing activity of God can do a perfect work for them.
You pray for yourself and others. You are blessed with wholeness; and you are a blessing to those that you are praying for today. In the absence of fear you have new and profound strength, directly from God.
In Philippians 4:13, our Bible states, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me!”
All things include profound healing.
Praying to God for Divine healing under girds our fine doctors, nurses, and medicines, providing a strong, stable, and lasting support.
An interoffice softball game was held every year between the marketing and support staff of one company.
The support staff whipped the marketing department soundly.
To show just “how” the marketing department earns their keep, they posted this memo on the bulletin board after the game:
“The Marketing Department is pleased to announce that for the 1996 Softball Season, we came in 2nd place, having lost but one game all year. The Support Department, however, had a rather dismal season, as they won only one game.”
An elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%.
The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, “Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again.”
The gentleman replied, “Oh, I haven’t told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I’ve changed my will three times!”
Old Codger
An old guy (not in the best of shape) was working out in the gym when he spotted a sweet young thing.
He asked the trainer that was nearby, “What machine in here should I use to impress that sweet young thing over there?”
The trainer looked him up and down and said, “I’d try the ATM machine out in the lobby.”
Great Graphics, Doc.
Thank You.
An appropriate request from Netanyahu
Good suggestion....
Dear President Obama:
I am writing today with a somewhat unusual request. I am asking that you return America to its August 20, 1959 borders so that Hawaii is no longer a state and you are no longer a citizen.
Thank you,
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
He was frustrated. He was angry. He was tired of being blamed for everything that went wrong. Year after year, he had gotten them through one disaster after another. He was continually interceding on their behalf to keep them out of trouble. But all he got for his efforts was more grief. Finally, in exasperation, he said, Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock? (Num. 20:10).
That suggestion might sound preposterous, but it wasnt. Forty years earlier, the previous generation had the same complaint: no water. God told Moses to strike a rock with his staff (Ex. 17:6). When he obeyed, water gushed outplenty of water. When the grumbling started again so many years later, Moses did the thing that worked before. But this time it was the wrong thing to do. What Moses told the Israelites to doto listenhe himself had not done. God had told him to speak to the rock this time, not strike it.
Sometimes in exhaustion or exasperation, we dont pay close attention to God. We assume He will always work the same way. But He doesnt. Sometimes He tells us to act; sometimes He tells us to speak; sometimes He tells us to wait. That is why we must always be careful to listen before we take action.

“12. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Belief, is too little recognized as being the way of God's healing power, belief is before the conversion of thy soul, it is the demonstration of faith, belief!
We must first believe that He is!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hebrews 11;6
King James Bible
“But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
When we believe, we follow the acts of faith (believing).
Have an enjoyable Caturday!
Hope things are going well in AZland!
