I just received a notice of intention to terminate my rental agreement for the the following reason
/Section 4 of the Crime Free Multi Housing addendum: Resident, occupants and occupant's guests shall not engage in any act of violence or threat of violence, including but not limited to the unlawful display or discharge of a firearm, a racial slur, a hate crime or any property damage on or off the leased premises.
This all started occurring a couple of weeks ago when new neighbors had a loud party which lasted past 3:30 PM in the apt next to mine. I called the police they came and shut them down.One week later the same thing happened and at 1:30PM I again called the police to shut down the noise coming from that apt.
The occupent of that apt also parks half way into my parking spot making it virtually impossible to get in and out of my vehicle where as SHE doesn't use half of her parking spot (She parks at a 45 degree angle.)
I need advice or the name of a good attorney to represent these things because it is well known that at least 2 of the managers are Obama followers, and I happen to have a anti Obama sticker on my car.
None of the charges are true and my neighbors can all attest to the fact that the people in that apt were waking people up both nights. Many of these people lived 2 apt buildings away where I am right next door.
I heard not one person say anything about race only that they were falling down drunk in the parking lot in additions to swearing at the top of their voices and just making noise late (very late) into the evening.
can any of you freepers help or give me more than mere condolances but rather help in this matter.
I live in Chandler Arizona if that helps and am a disabled vet.

I would move first, then file legal paperwork once you are in a safer place. Seriously. You don’t want to remain in this apartment.

Also there is no Federal law on such things. It depends solely on the state. We are allowed to discriminate for many reasons, politics being one of them. Not for race, sex, etc. etc. but politics is okay in every place I have heard of.

After living in many apartments around Phoenix I can tell you tenants have the right to pay the rent and leave when told with notice.
The owners are often out of state/country and the management companies are only interested in collecting their fee.
One way or another you’re going. Sorry but that’s the reality.
Whichever way you choose, if you want the upper hand, document everything! Keep a diary, and take photographs to substantiate your diary. Have your camera add a visible date stamp to the photos if it has that ability.

I can’t speak for your state. Your state may have some sort of free speech law.
However, I will say it’s the landlord’s property. Who are you to say why or why not?
I suggest you go do business with someone who wants to do business with you.
As a homeowner, I needn't worry about it myself, but were I a renter and I was being targeted for a non-offensive bumper sticker (Palin/West 2012) or t-shirt (the same,) I'd sue the living crap out of the property owner.

It’s not his property. Only the owner or the management of the property could have the car towed, and it doesn’t sound like he’s in good with them.

All fine things and protected by the first amendment. But my understanding is that just as I don’t have to buy a used car from someone sporting an Obama sticker, someone else doesn’t have to rent an apartment to me if I wear a FR hat.
If his parking space is marked with his unit number, it is his property for the duration of the time his rent is paid. Parking across his space violates his property rights.
Perhaps in theory. However, I’ve had personal experience with this matter. A neighbor who’s guest continually parked in my spot. Neither the police nor the towing service will act on the complaint of a tenant, only the owner/manager.
