Discovered in 1903, both sides of the clay disc are covered with hieroglyphs arranged in a spiral zone, impressed on the clay when it was damp. Forty five different types of signs have been distinguished, of which a few can be identified with the hieroglyphs in use in the Proto- palatial period. [snip]

You haven’t figured it out yet?
Bored cats cannot unroll toilet paper when it is hung that way, as they only unroll TP with a downward swipe. I have nine cats and hanging it with the wall sure saves me money!
To get it to unroll, Tanker, use an upward swipe.

Hmmm. We have had cats for many years and none of them have tried unrolling toilet paper. Maybe ours just lack ambition . . . :-))

    She’s a gorgeous long-haired Japanese Bobtail.
Let me tell you, she is damned proud of her creations made out of unrolled TP, piled about on my bathroom’s floor in what I’m sure she believes to be decorative mounds, here and there.
Since I turned the roll around, no more creative kitty designs made out of TP!
