Jean-Pierre Houdin -- who was rebuffed three years ago by Egypt in his appeal for a probe into how the Pyramid was built -- said 3-D simulation and data from a U.S. egyptologist, Bob Brier, pointed to two secret chambers in the heart of the structure.
The rooms would have housed furniture for use in the afterlife by the pharaoh Khufu, also known as Cheops in Greek, he told a press conference.
"I am convinced there are antechambers in this pyramid. What I want is to find them," he said.
In March 2007, Houdin advanced the theory that the Great Pyramid had been built inside-out using an internal spiral ramp, as opposed to an external ramp as had long been suggested.

When they finished, they used those same baskets and tens of thousands of whisk brooms to clear away the sand back down to grade.
And that is why there is so much sand piled up in the desert today!
No doubt they’d find B.H.O.’s original birth certificate in one of them chambers.
Don't we wish, but Zahi Hawass has now been levitated to a new cabinet level post for antiquities.
I hope they make hats in his new size.
What makes anyone believe change in Egypt will be anything other then an Islamic theocracy?
Which of course the pyramids will be blown up under a theocracy.
one coprolite
Oh! Oh! Oh!
Maybe they were EXTRUDED!!!
No, no, no. That's under the Sphinx.
In 100,000 years people will marvel that the entire outside of the Great Pyramid was fused into a glaze and wonder how it was done...
And they’ll prolly never know.
By then they should have figgered out how to place a consciousness into a machene and the phrase “Sh** Happens” will have no context.
The unannounced test of my gag reflex worked.
The idea was to have a quarry where stone was broken into reasonable sizes, nothing much bigger than a volleyball more or less, hauled to the build site in wagons by elephants or whatever, dumped into formers, and then whatever mortar they were using poured into the formers to fill out the space. That’s how they got the unreal tight fits. I mean if you think about it, trying to carve blocks at the quarry would waste 2/3 of the material if it could be done at all which is doubtful. That would be if you only needed five or ten such stones; no way in hell is anybody going to produce millions of perfectly carved stones that way.
So do you think the Great Pyramids are older than the mainstream says they are?
Stargate anyone?
The third major pyramid (small by Giza standards, but still large) was going to be torn down by a caliph during the Middle Ages, and the scar from that attempt still shows, but after months of work, he went out to take a look, saw how little damage had been done so far, and gave up. His goal was to rip down all three of ‘em.
The Abu Roash pyramid of Khufu’s son and successor, Djedjedfre, a few miles north of Giza, was constructed to some point during his shortened reign, but during recent centuries it’s known to have become a quarry of sorts for Muzzie projects in Cairo.
My pleasure.
In the 1980s a French team used I forget what to look for unknown chambers and whatnot. Their detector found a probable void right near the entrance to the King’s Chamber, on the left as one is going up. The blocks there don’t overlap (as bricklaying as well as stone masonry is generally laid) and it looks for all the world like they were slid in to fill the previous opening. The Gyppoes gave permission for a test hole. The stone was drilled through, and a sand-filled chamber of some sort was found. It wasn’t opened though. Never will be, probably.
The same detector spotted Houdin’s internal spiral ramp as well, but didn’t put it in their publications because it didn’t make sense at the time.
I wholeheartedly agree. And the interesting thing is, it answers most of the construction mysteries, and is completely compatible with explanations for the others. :’)
Pharaohs checked in, but they didn’t check out.
Upon what evidence do you base this assertion?
