It seems that for whatever reasons Free Republic has now become an "anti-birther" website, and dedicated itself to protecting those who shielded Obama by mocking and insulting the people who questioned his obviously fraudulent qualifications.
Since my thoughts are no longer in sympathy with those of the management of this website, I'll be finding a different Internet venue to post on in the future, where I am not censored in a manner I find unreasonable.
Thanks to all sharing your thoughts with me over the past several years. Whether you agreed or disagreed with me, it has always been stimulating and entertaining, and occasionally enlightening.
“What? I see no evidence of “anti-birther” bias here - in fact, I see more “anti-birther” people being attacked as trolls than anything else.”
I agree.
Any group the size of FR is going to have its share of snotty-nosed, pseudo-sophisticated, nose in the air anti-birthers, but by in large, most of us question Obozo’s legitimacy as POTUS.
The anti-birther’s can keep their heads up their rears, or go suck an egg for all I care.
Newman!
Well, he was already in Brooklyn when he related this, so something might’ve been lost in translation.
NO CAPS LOCK! No veiled frackin' profanity. No vitriol against his oppressors.
Boo!
You should meet up with Parsifal, who gave HIS opus because he thought FR was too pro-birther.
That link is not a Opus, Registered is still here.
Regardless, this guy's looking for attention.
Sorry. Your opus falls far short of FR’s high standards. You must express far more outrage, dish out a large dose of sarcasm or ad hominem, end with an air of indifference and add a perfunctory dash of graciousness at your farewell. Your end was good, but all other elements are lacking.
You bastard!
What’s stopping you from getting Barry’s BC then?
On a serious note, do you have a short form BC and a long form BC?
Close my account.
When his last posts end like that it's an Opus. Because Mr. Robinson chose not to close the account doesn't change the outcome. Registered hasn't posted since August 3, 2007.
Why do most, not all, but most of the people on here get so nasty when they a. disagree with someone b.someone leaves this site c. supports a person that you don’t like?? Even if someone posts an article that makes some mad, the person who posts it gets slammed, even if the person posting didn’t agree with the article just wanted to share what they found!
I forgot about Parsi. He could write songs in a jiffy and was actually funny.
Parsi who LOL
you anti-dentite bastard!
Oh come ON. This is the best you’ve got?
Who, specifically in “management” is an anti-birther?
(Doesn’t it just kill you to come back and read all the replies to your post and wish you’d thought of addressing that in your opus itself?)
Meanwhile- just in this one week there have been at LEAST 20 threads started here by and/or about birthers. If management was indeed against the topic these threads would be deleted before the 3rd or 4th reply.
As a proud charter member of freeper birthers, I can tell you there are levels of birthers. There’s the strict constitution natural born citizen group, the Stanley Ann had him in Canada, or Washington or possibly Kenya group, the CIA plant group, the Barack Obama Sr. is not his father group, and a newer offshoot of that- that Stanley Ann was not his mother and finally the I don’t care about his bc as much as his college records, passport and draft registration group.
Now surely you could have found your own niche in our wide array of birthers that, while I poke fun, I am yet a believer, and likely to remain so until or unless he frees the long form.
But no matter, you’ll be back.
I only learned the meaning when several people from my company and I went to Dublin on a business trip.
A female coworker announced to our Irish hosts who greeted us at the airport that she was so glad to be up and out of that plane because her fanny was numb from sitting on it for so long.
They tried, really tried to be diplomatic, but the look of shock and then amusement was unmistakable. They finally explained later that night over pints of Guinness, lots of red faces and then gales of laughter.
It was a good trip, I love Ireland.
Me? I am a luddite, but I am pretty proficient with a computer. But only when I have to be.
So far as giving birth, I leave that up to my wife. I watched a couple of times and it looked like it hurt a lot.
