It seems that for whatever reasons Free Republic has now become an "anti-birther" website, and dedicated itself to protecting those who shielded Obama by mocking and insulting the people who questioned his obviously fraudulent qualifications.
Since my thoughts are no longer in sympathy with those of the management of this website, I'll be finding a different Internet venue to post on in the future, where I am not censored in a manner I find unreasonable.
Thanks to all sharing your thoughts with me over the past several years. Whether you agreed or disagreed with me, it has always been stimulating and entertaining, and occasionally enlightening.
What does “anti-birther” mean?

Good question. Most people are birthers. Like Chrissy Matthews for instance.
Lets be sure we know the definition of a birther. First of all, a birther is NOT someone who always believes Obama was born in Kenya.
To put it simply, a birther is anyone who doubts the authenticity of the circumstances of Obama’s birth. Plain and simple.
Even those who vehemently disagree with this issue and wish we would focus on other issues? They are birthers too. They know Obama is lying and covering up. They just wish we all would shut up about it.
To define an anti-birther is simple: An Obama-bot who believes every word out of the lying purple lips of the Pres__ent regarding his birth is true and believes the COLB is proof positive that Obama is eligible to be the president.
You show me a FReeper like that, and I’ll make it my life’s mission to see they get the zot.
There are no anti-birthers on this site.

Agreed. I used to think the birther issue was a non-starter, but now I’m takign it more seriously. The poster has to realize that most people here at FR are pretty committed to civil discourse, even when we disagree. When one of the few who likes to launch personal attacks does so, don’t quit — just hit the Abuse button.
FR is by far the best discussion forum on the Internet.
If I get handed a petition to impeach Obama because he hasn't produced a valid birth certificate, I'll sign it. In fact, I'll sign any petition that involves the impeaching of Obama for any reason. But I'm not pinning my hopes on Obama getting impeached whether I get to sign such a petition or not so I'm not going to dwell on that.
Instead, I've been focusing on what we can do - for example getting back the House (mission accomplished) and the Senate and White House (hopefully in 2012 through the ballot box).
I'm old enough to remember 1979 when it seemed that all was lost. Jimmy Carter was in the White House, the economy was in the tank and America appeared to be losing its standing in the world. Little did we know at the time that we were on the brink of the Reagan revolution and nearly two uninterrupted decades of unparalleled prosperity and American greatness.
I believe that we are on the brink of yet another such renaissance.
Of all the issues we bicker about here, the birth certificate is one of the few that FReepers seems to be largely in agreement on. And at least our disagreements on the issue are relatively well behaved.
I do recall some threads where people complained that her website contained malware. I don’t know if her website is blocked at FR or if those claims were true.

The problem is YOU ARE NOT HONEST in your reason for leaving. I looked and I only see TWO postings by you on a birther thread in the last week and NO ONE REPLIED TO YOU.
