God is saying "OK, if you won't come to me, I'll come to you"

Aka Jesus :-)

Merry Christmas!

oh how cool...
when I was just a kid!!! (many years ago) I would go to the market on Sat.ALONE with my wagon and I was 11 and 12 years old...I would have $5.00 from my parents and I would buy a wagon full of fresh fruits, veggies, bread and even some cheese and lunch meat...
Mom said...lovey (nick name) will be a good manager when she grows up...!!!!
KIDS were safe in those days...we lived on Scranton Rd. and I walked to the market...bet it was a couple miles!!!! oh those were the days my friend...

I also vaguely remember helping my mother by pulling my wagon to the Reisbeck’s grocery store (located in a small town along the Ohio River, just North of Martins Ferry, Ohio).

$5.00 bought a lot of groceries for a family of five back in the 50’s...!

She would have loved the West Side Market..

Thanks....I love these...bookmark for later!

Most recent one I’ve seen on You Tube is the Ohio State flash mob for the opening of their new student union.

First Alleluia flash mob in Ontario, Canada, now in Cleveland, Ohio; let's hope there are more locales soon.

Just to spread the word that we are a Christian nation.

lol I think it’s better then a Christmas tree.

I wonder if "scientists" will do a study to see if non-Christians are put off by Handel's Messiah. We learned today that they're depressed around the Christmas tree.

For some reason, this song is more beautiful when it is performed in this way then when it is performed in a church.

That depends on the Church, the choir, the director, and what they put into it. I recall a downright impressive rendition at our church in Parma, Ohio, back in the '70s. When done well, it is a very powerful piece.

FWIW, I think that the original "food court" version is the best. It was well sung, and well choreographed. Impressive, to say the least. They all are!

west side market 1st...mama santa’s for lunch and then Corbo’s for Casata cake and canoli’s. Corbo’s has incredible ravioli’s and sauce by the way. As close to my Mom’s as I have ever tasted.

I wish they would show up at an Obama “presser”, and when he starts pontificating about his destructive agenda for this country, they could burst into song and remind him of who REALLY IS IN CONTROL!!!
