*Senate debate continues on the START treaty...
Tensions mount on the Korean peninsula as S. Korea plans to go ahead with maneuvers...
And storms rage on the West Coast causing landslides, floods, and much damage....
*I'm a little out-of-touch with the news so if any of this is inaccurate or not strictly current, I apologize...
How great that would be!
Thank you so much HOB. I loooove the Christmas messages on Fox.
You’re a trooper HOB, come sing at my house any time!
Ditto!!!
My son is stuck in Belguim which is better than being stuck in England (his flight to Texas was via Heathrow) since he lives in Belguim. He’s had two flights cancled so far. The Belguim airport ran out of deicer fluid... When it comes to winter, Europe is Africa.
He’ll make another attempt/reservation to fly out before Christmas. If that does not work, he won’t be home for Christmas. :(
Me three (on the ditto).. and a few other reasons ...:-)
up for lunar eclipse. I am sure it was super but here in NE Ohio we had our expected “overcast”... gloomy weather. dogs however enjoyed their romp
Off in a few days for a couple week trip to OKC.
Oh, Sara, I am so sorry. Tbe bright spot is that he is stuck at his home and not in some dreary airport. I meant to ask you last night, but then other things were going on and it got pushed away. Hopefully, something will clear today.
The sun, in its peregrinations, has touched the southernmost point and is now traveling back north. The days will be getting longer again, MORE SUNLIGHT!, and eventually the sap will start rising and things will begin to bloom. To that, I dreamed some daffodils and paperwhites had popped up and were expressing their optimism in warmer days. I did, in my dream, have a camera and so got some pictures. LOL!
I did not stay up or get up to see the eclipse. The forecast was predicted to be cloudy. Besides, it was too dark to see anything anyway.
LOL!
Good morning!
>>Besides, it was too dark to see anything anyway
Sound like one of the Marx Brothers. Karl.
Yes, yes. yes! I’m going to do a dance around the house....it may be to the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies, but oh well....
Thank you. I’ve known that but really haven’t done the research. That explains in part the wide disparity of prices. It is like using a generic ingredient in cooking or a name-brand something. Quite often the brand makes a difference!
I agree with you. Fox is getting it right in those messages, that the birth of the Savior is the center of the celebration.
Without Christ, it would just be a bunch of symbolism looking for a meaning.
Now will he still come, even if it's not for Christmas, or will he have lost his opportunity??
Thanks for the Friedman link, Raven....
Good morning everybody. Sara, hoping your son gets a break on the airline travel and is able to get home for Christmas.
Catching up on some things around the house and need to put in at least a mile or two. Anything (exercise-wise) is better than nothing.
