*Senate debate continues on the START treaty...
Tensions mount on the Korean peninsula as S. Korea plans to go ahead with maneuvers...
And storms rage on the West Coast causing landslides, floods, and much damage....
*I'm a little out-of-touch with the news so if any of this is inaccurate or not strictly current, I apologize...
I just find that statement highly suspect. And if one statement in the post is suspect,, I have to wonder if the rest of it is accurate.
Sending good wishes that your son has good luck with his travels. I don’t want to make you worry, but think you should see this:

I’ve done a bit of traveling across borders. It can be rather ... something. You need to pay attention to your surroundings. Usually there is nothing going on and everything can be boring, even tedious. But, if something happens during that moment or two of inattention, there could be costly consequences. I say costly because we weren’t in danger ever, just it cost a bit in our wallet.
Well, perhaps my girls may have been in danger that one time this person noticed them (17-year old blondes) and started to move in their direction. He didn’t get close. I was paying attention. Nothing happened. My youngest daughter laughs about it. She noticed his moves. The other girl was clueless.
Anyway, it is no trouble to pray and I’m glad to do it.
Merry Christmas.
and 0bama is on vacation in Hawaii...
May he eat too much Poi, and spend his vacation in misery.
so close
One more autumn picture on this last day of fall.
Oooooo......That one is GOLDEN, Jem.
Good morning, everyone!
How exciting about the house! Hoping it all goes well.
So glad you’re feeling better!!
How are yous feeling?
I am so glad you liked it.
Salmonella is very common in chickens even if raised on the farm, IIRC. Hence the subsequent teachings of my 4-H leaders and home ec teachers so many years ago, to always throughly cook poultry until the juices run clear. I wouldnt’ be surprised at the 70% figure, it might be low.
Cook meat to recommended degrees, problem solved. Except now the gubmint can shut operations down easier, just what we needed. Yes, they will abuse it. Yes, they will try to engineer what we can and can’t eat.
Bless those who volunteer to by 4-H leaders BTW. Those generous and patient women who opened their kitchens to a bunch of giggling 10 year girls and actually taught them a few things about cooking and meal preparation is a testament of their service to America’s girls.
Good morning everybody. We’re in the final Christmas stretch.
What a game.
It shows me that the Patriots are beatable. Give Matt Flynn credit for playing a great first game. Wow!
The Packers can still gain a wild card spot by winning the next two games.
Carolyn's home! She got in safely Saturday evening about 11:30 pm in Mitchell Field, down in Milwaukee. (We stayed overnight in my sister's apartment in Wauwatosa.) We went to Mass at Old St. Mary's, downtown Milwaukee. Beautiful old church. they had a gorgeous sounding choir. Their rendition of Lo, How a Rose er Blooming was incredible. It just echoed through the church. Brought tears to my eyes. Still one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time!
We then went over to Saz's for brunch. One of the best brunch buffets I have ever seen. I am not a big eater, but what I had was absolutely delicious.
Kathryn's doing much better, and as of yesterday her vision seemed a bit clearer. Thank the Lord!!!
It is good to have everyone home. I can't descibe the feeling of having all our children home for the holidays.
As these days pass us by, I continue to count my blessings. During this Christmas season may you all find the peace and joy that that begin with the birth of our precious Savior and redeemer!
Merry Christmas!
Thanks...Feeling a tad bit better but I still have to work today.
Lysie, congrats on the house!! I can’t wait till I get to that point.
Fixed! Coffee...coffee....
So glad to hear the family is all together and K’s eye is getting better. PTL, indeed!
Merry Christmas!
Try and take it a little slow today, Neets.
