HOLIDAY EATING TIPS

Greetings, All! It has been a productive weekend on the wood shop project. The mezzanine flooring is finished, Jack and two of his friends moved two parts cabinets and my new band saw out of the basement and over to the shop, and today, I installed the outside chimney, the hearth and the wood stove! I am ready for the fire department inspection on Thursday and will be ready for the final inspect on the same day!

Watching the RATS in the Senate and House, I am reminded of the Wolverine. It is the only animal that kills for the sake of killing and will urinate on the left-over carcass to prevent any other animal from eating it.

The RAT Party, the Lame Ducks and those who should be, have spent this month urinating on the American Voter. The question is, is the American Voter aware of this, or does he/she merely think it is raining?

Do you think it has ever occurred to anyone that most congress persons are nut cases? They never ever think of the consequences of any of their legislation and then, if it’s really bad, they lie about it.

There was a huge piece in yesterdays paper about the new tax deductions and the new lower tax. What a lie. There are no new tax deductions and no new lower tax. There is just the extension of the Bush tax rates. They even spelled out all of the “new” deductions and how much they would save, as if there were new lower taxes instead of the same tax rates we have had for several years. It was an AP piece and I can tell you those writers really know how to lie too.

Did you see Sarah Palin’s Alaska tonight? At one point they were eating s’more’s and she says something like, “this one is dedicated to [the big Mo] who doesn’t want us to eat desserts.” LOL!

Well, the weather in the UK stinks! My son is trying to get home from Belguim via the UK. Snow, snow, snow!

This is a rough time to travel and that snow doesn’t help one bit. When is he supposed to get home? I’ll be praying for him along the way.
