Did you hear? For the first time in nearly 16 years, the McRib is available at every McDonalds in the U.S.! Until recently, the BBQ pork sandwich was only available for limited periods at select locations, inspiring websites for fans to track the beloved menu item down. But the McRib is not alone in its cult status. Below are 10 limited-edition foods that elicit cravings in legions of fans...

I like the Sierra Mist Natural quite a bit as well. Again, cane sugar just tastes better to me than HF corn syrup.
I wish my beloved Vernor’s Ginger Ale would go back to using stevia plant for sweetening rather than HFCS. It just doesn’t taste nearly as good as it did when I was a kid.
Taco Bell needs to bring back the Chili Cheese Burrito. Only a few locations still have it.

“The McRib is colored, shaped and flavored pork fat. Yuck!”
Nonsense! The McRib is colored, shaped and flavored pork connective tissue. Yum!
Aw, I didn’t know they’d stopped carrying those! I don’t do fast food much, and Taco Bell even less, but those were a keeper!
“PAssover coke costs a lot more though, be aware.”
I’ve heard that the bottling plant in Lehigh Valley, Pa. uses sugar.
For a number of reasons, I didn't eat at McDonald's until I was in college and they happened to be convenient, but I came to like their quarter pounders. I graduated, got a job, married and more or less went McD-free for a few years; when I returned, I couldn't believe these were the same burgers. Somewhere in the '80's, either their standards slipped or mine fell. Since I am still a food lowbrow, I doubt it was the latter.

Three not on the list:
Twice in the last 10 years, Hardees has brought back the “Big Shef” burger from Burger Chef, which Hardees bought out years ago.
Cranberry Ginger Ale from Canada Dry, Love it!

Lastly, The Cone, in West Chester, Ohio (near Boehner’s district office!) has Pumpkin Ice Cream every fall. A must have.
I remember having my last match in December of that year prior to the semester break, and right afterwards my dad took me to McDonald's. That McRib was one of the best things I tasted in my life.
LOL! If you say so.
I go to Burger King and get two Buck Doubles and a side salad with italian. Water cup to boot. $3.23 for a lunch. Not bad a reckon.
I'm addicted. Buy up a bundle every year. Anybody else have this addiction? It's odd, I know.
“The McRib is colored, shaped and flavored pork fat. Yuck!”
Right you are! I looked them up on McD’s nutrition web site and out of 280 calories total for the “meat” pattie, 210 calories are from fat! Nothing else on their menu even comes close to this percentage of fat. These things are really nasty!
I have not had a McRib in years, but I did cook them up at my first real job at McDonald’s back in 1982. They were much easier to assemble than a Big Mac and I recall them being quite tasty. Of course this was in Northern Indiana and I had no familiarity with real BBQ pork at the time.
New England McDonalds have lobster. And it’s good. For $3.99: a New England-style hot dog bun (slit along the top), filled with lobster and topped with a lobster claw.
The nastiest burger ever sold legally was the Wimpy Burger. They were all over London when I was there from ‘69 - ‘71. Just bloody awful.
Mallomars are an odd inclusion: they’re not that different from Pinwheels, just more compact.
The only thing I will ever eat from Mc Ds is the breakfasts.
Everything else I tried is nasty.
ROFL!
