Interpol puts Assange on most-wanted list

CNN) -- Interpol, at the request of a Swedish court looking into alleged sex crimes from earlier this year, has put WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on its most-wanted listed.

The Stockholm Criminal Court two weeks ago issued an international arrest warrant for Assange on probable cause, saying he is suspected of rape, sexual molestation and illegal use of force in August incidents.

Sweden asked Interpol, the international police organization, to post a "Red Notice" after a judge approved a motion to bring him into custody.

The "Red Notice" is not an international arrest warrant. It is an advisory and request, issued to 188 member countries "to assist the national police forces in identifying or locating those persons with a view to their arrest and extradition," according to Interpol.

As he lies there dieing from whatever it is they used to kill him, I wonder if he'll look back in retrospect and regret having pi**ed off the most powerful people on earth?

The wonderful Bush 41 phrase “deep doo-doo” comes to mind; as in, this guy has gotten himself into ..... He has our government, Interpol and the Russians all looking for him. I am betting on the Russians and an unpleasant end involving polonium-210. If he’s ever seen again.

I don't know about him being caught. I hear this man is in charge of the case. Hand picked by Obummer.

It's funny though. You can tell that he's got a lot of dirt on a lot of people. It's not like he's hiding out in some cave in Peshwar Province! He's using his American Express card and flying chartered jets!

Don't send him here! Just like a Gitmo trial turned civilian, discovery will be brutal to the establishment.

They won’t do anything to him until they find out what and where all his data is? I’m sure if they kill him there are people with instructions on what to download and from where.

If we get to him before the Russsians do, he would have reason to be very thankful to us. very thankful. In fact, I suspect the race for Mr. Asange is on.

His fate depends on who finds him first I suspect. I’m not 100% convinced that he isn’t an asset already.

Hey, I am on record as having suggested this a week (or more) ago!!!

I want credit accordingly!

In the meantime, I am using my newfound power to task a Predator with a few Hellfire precision missiles to find this guy...

They, too, should be afraid (especially if the Russkies are involved in the hunt).

If the Russians get him that scenario may be very likely. Hope he enjoys Siberia and plutonium.

...he is suspected of rape, sexual molestation and illegal use of force...

I'm not defending his release of the classified materials, but these charges are insane - and ONLY found (AFAIK) in Sweden.

Know what he did? He met an adult woman and had consensual sex with her.

Then, a few days later, he met another adult woman and had consensual sex with her.

That's it.

But woman #2 (who is a known government agent) talked with woman #1 and do you know what they decided? That there wasn't enough time between him having sex with them both for him to possibly have been sincere about his affections for each of them individually.

So if he wasn't sincere, then he lied to have sex, which is therefore "rape, sexual molestation and illegal use of force."

Sweden. Where if men don't sit down to piss, they're offending women.

And where, if women feel you've had sex with OTHER women before they decide you can, you're a rapist.

THAT is the insanity for which he's "wanted."

Imagine the paradox of having to waterboard him to obtain information on what he's got/where/when/who etc.......

I'd personally just go for his cell phone GPS coordinates and dend him a high altitude released, cellulose encased, high explosive ordinance. Then claim the Saudi's did it.

Sounds like they got the names on the forms mixed up. Are they sure that’s not Roman Polanski’s charges?

If the Russians get him first, waterboarding will be the least of his worries.

They WILL get everything he knows. What they will do with that information, however, is a whole nuther subject.
