18: Forbidden Planet

A story so good, even time can’t detract from the cheesy costumes and special effects of the era.

Ann Francis.
Wow.

Cursa to you list maker. I don’t see Buckaroo Banzai anywhere on that list.

Peter Weller’s other movie Robocop is missing as well. Day of the Triffids definitely needs to on there and Serenity should be a lot higher up. I probably would have made Alien number one.

2001 should not be rated over Forbidden Planet.

I agree about Outland, but it may have been overlooked because it was intended as a set-in-space re-imagining of “High Noon,” a western.

Don’t know if it was sarcasm or not but I liked Starship Troopers as well MINUS the lamer web interface thingy they tried to integrate into the movie “would you like to learn more” mouse click.

I think Ethan Hawke and especially Jude Law were great in it.

Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, Star Wars IV, Serenity and Forbidden Planet ranked below ET or Starship Troopers?

This goes beyond poor movie choices, I'm reaching for a rope!

Well, it is kinda dated. It lacked something the last time I saw it on TV.
