The NON-Recovery Fall is here, and leading into election day, it's expected that higher unemployment figures will not help the Dems.
Related to that, in a shocker, the Cleveland Plain Dealer has endorsed John Kasich for Governor over the incumbent Dem, Strickland. This is a "Did I read that right?" moment: a huge plus for Kasich.
I guess even a Lib paper in the most liberal part of the state can't hide from the truth.

It's fascinating that very close together we had 2 incidents of clarity from the Left: first the hideous UK video on controlling carbon "footprints", and then the Islamist on ABC proclaiming in a debate that Sharia would conquer the US, and its flag fly over the WH..

Oh that dreaded trip to the eye doctor yesterday, hate those shots in the eye ball, something new that is being done by some doctors, it works for me, sure am glad but it is just the thought of it.
Here in south Mississippi there is a ‘nip’ in the air this morning, fall in the air but as it is every year we will see no snow this year..most of my clothes are short pants and short sleeve shirts, light jacket and yes, I do wear a light jacket and short pants several times a year.
I am so fortunate, watching the two adopted boys grow, TJ in his first year of school and loves it, Caleb, wide open 24-7 and he has found my stash of goodies I keep in my shack for them, raids me all the time and yep, I let him.
Allie is growing up, pretty as a fresh tulip, smart in school (taking after me?), straight A's, real envolved in her church and other Christan actives, not a mean bone in her body. got her eys set on a christian college who a couple years ago put a branch down here on the coast.
Am on a big time reading kick but have to go for a stress test, don't want to but will, you see, I know better than my doctor, kinda, in my dreams.
OK. time to do some things, feed the catS gd gave me, do a little cleaning, a hit here, a hit there....

I took two hours off late yesterday to watch The Three Lives of Thomasina.
Still an adorable movie after all the years. Today, I will be preceding all my statements with “Aach”, as in “Aach now, how are you feeling dearie.”

Hubby is doing pretty well. Doc said he could drive. We need to practice around the neighborhood first. He needs three more weeks with the walker and then major PT starts in earnest.
He’s good natured, which helps.

Strange, D won’t let me drive until she watches me drive a few times. In law enforcement I drove an averqge of 100 miles a day, in town and can’t drive??? sheesh.....

My dad gets those shots in his eyes, for macular degenration. He takes LD as a driver, but he won’t let her drive! I just pray for them.
Does the doc put your head in a clamp to keep you from wiggling? I do not think I could stand that sort of treatment.

Nice to check in with the thread again. I *forgot* my password to get in, after logging off a few weeks ago. I had to take my laptop to the office for a day or 2, and always try to log out of each site when I do that. Wouldn’t want someone pretending to be the SCBear!!!
So, my email address had changed significantly as well, and I could not get my password!! I decided to go through FBook and bother Jim Rob, and he was kind enough to suggest it, and voila - back in.
I have now updated my email address hereon.
I have missed you! I hate all this password nonsense. I understand the need for it. My FB account was even hacked once. But I hate it.
