This young lady who’s husband was killed on a lake by the
mexicans, this lady is touching my heart, so sad...what in the hell is this country coming to.

Falcon Lake isn't far from us. I can't understand why in the world they didn't obey the buoy warnings and stay on the US side, except they were supposedly taking pictures of the now submerged Old Guerrero mission.

Plus, they had been living in Reynosa previously to this....and Reynosa is a rough town. Some missionaries I know were doing prison ministry there and have mostly had to stop because of the danger over there.

Anyway, I wonder if having just lived in Mexico sort of desensitized this young couple as to the dangers. Mr. Prairie also wonders if seeing them taking pictures of the old mission prompted the cartel's attack on them.

She's lucky to be alive herself.
