I am trying to think of a good name for a dog, just acquired from the pound. He's been neutered, seems to be a bit less than one year old. He's part blue heeler and part black lab with ears that do not seem to be of either of those two breeds. He's joining the alpha male guard dog and the little mama dog who are both getting up there in years.
If anyone has any good suggestions for naming him, I'd appreciate it.

I leave for work in a half hour, so won't be online for a while this afternoon but will check back later today.
Thanks, FReepers, for any ideas.

Alpha Male Guard Dog = call him “FACE” since he’ll be in everyone’s ‘Face’...

He won’t have any problem listening to the name Hussein. Easy to pronounce, easy to grasp.

I heard never to name a dog a person’s name. Thought that was silly, until I named my present dog, Max. He thinks he is human.

Blue heeler, black lab - black & blue, I’d call him Bruiser. “Hematoma” just doesn’t roll trippingly off the tongue...

Call him “Beat Down” because he is Black and Blue....sort of like what the Dems will be after November’s election :)
