Spoke with a friend of mine in DC who is in very well-connected politically on the Dem side and I asked him about the mood in DC.
He advised me Obama is a shell of a man, second guessing himself non-stop, reeking of cigarettes and consumed with the color of his rapidly-graying hair.
Our informer goes on to say that they realize it’s “second party hearsay” but that it is “consistent with other reports I’ve heard.”

He just needs another vacation. That’ll calm him down.

I bet this is true. He wishes he could say “hear, have it”. He will not run in 2012 or even make it past 2011
He obviously needs to take a vacation. He’s working too hard.
I remember the Frank Rich column where Bush was supposedly twitching and talking to pictures on the walls, a’ la Nixon.

If that’s what a connected Democratic is saying, then I say he’s also leaning on alcohol, and the narcissist is also upset that Axelrod is making him lay off the hair dye—so as to impart the wisdom and experience that he doesn’t actually have.
I believe the big Ø will eventually crack under the pressure so that even his rabid drones will sit up and take notice.

His hair is going grey rather quickly.

If he were actually a real Commander in Chief he would be relieved of duties as being unfit.
That explains why he looked so bad at that “I won Iraq” speech he just gave. Interesting that a guy who smokes like a chimney claims the moral authority to decide what we should be able to eat.
Guilt will do that to you. He should just release his actual birth certificate and let the chips fall where they may. He’ll sleep better at night. He may be out of office but at least he’ll get some rest.
Aw, that’s a shame. Hey, you can always QUIT!
