For the second time in two weeks, a man is suspected of taking cell phone photographs under women's dresses at a Northwest Side Wal-Mart.
Martin Matthew Hemby, 20, was released from Bexar County Jail around 6 p.m. Wednesday after posting $5,000 bail. He faces one charge of improper photography.
This is the second time San Antonio police have arrested Hemby on suspicion of taking improper photographs at a Wal-Mart Supercenter in the 1600 block of Vance Jackson Road — on July 23, Hemby was arrested, then released the next day after posting $10,000 bail.
Hemby's most recent arrest is related to an incident on July 9, when a 40-year-old woman shopping for greeting cards turned around and saw Hemby kneeling behind her with a cell phone in his hand, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
“It appeared to her as though (Hemby) had been positioning the phone under her dress with the camera lens of his phone facing up,” the affidavit states.
The woman reportedly stood up, punched him in the chest and asked what he was doing, and Hemby allegedly laughed and showed her his phone.
Two weeks later, an investigator was called to the store when another victim called police, and Hemby was arrested on-site. At that time, he reportedly admitted to police he had taken “photos under the dresses of unsuspecting women for his own personal gratification.”
Hemby was arrested without incident around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Let’s see...arrested July 23rd-$10,000.00 bail. Arrested AGAIN less than 2 weeks later-$5,000.00 bail. WTH!!!! The next time they will probably give him a PR bond.
