Conor, I hope you will do some cyber-searching on the Jack Russel Terrier.
They are VERY active - (and smart) - but they need a LOT of attention. Good luck on your decision. (And, if you get the Jack Russell, I hope your son is mature enough to take care of it, and spend a lot of time with it.)

WHAT? CATURDAY ALREADY?

OK! Time to get outta bed! It's been pouring down rain, all night.
I have the scanner on, and there are mud-slides north of me.
Thunder hit so hard last night, it turned on the touch sensitive lights!
We have waited so long for a good rain, and now it is finally here!Let me be the first to wish you a wonderful Saturday!

Thank you, yorkie! I would have posted an hour ago but it took a long time to find a color font to match the eyes and frame...know what I mean? Then, my son came and I chatted with him a while. He’s mowing now. Its not too hot right now but will be back in the 90’s this afternoon.
Glad you’re getting some nice rain even though we don’t like the thunder and lightning! Thats what happened here Thursday! Wishing you a wonderful Saturday!

Freep mail me to be on or off the Daily Bread ping list
Whats It All About?
Recently I was in a crowded shop- ping area when I saw a woman plowing her way through the crowd. What intrigued me was the message on her T-shirt, which read in bold capital letters, ITS ALL ABOUT ME. Her actions reinforced the words on her shirt.
Im afraid shes not alone. That message is declared by so many men and women today that it could be the motto of our modern world. For followers of Christ, however, that statement simply is not true. It is not all about usits all about Jesus Christ and others.
The apostle Paul certainly felt the weight of this reality. He was so concerned that his fellow Israelites would know Christ that he said, I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh (Rom. 9:3). That is a remarkable statement! Far from thinking it was all about himself, Paul affirmed that he would willingly exchange his eternity for theirs.
Pauls teaching is a refreshing reminder of self-sacrifice in a challenging world that is destructively self-centered. The question we must ask is: Is it all about me? Or is our life about Jesus Christ and the people He came to reach?
Think about it. Whats it all about?
Others, Lord, yes others,
May this my motto be.
Help me to live for others
That I may live for Thee. Meigs
Our lives should be marked by love for Christ and othersnot obsession with self.
Read: Romans 9:1-5
I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh.
Romans 9:3
