Good evening.
As we end another celebration of Independence Day and remember a generation's sacrifice and achievements long ago, let us renew our determination to protect and serve our country, its peoples' liberties and heritage through the tough times we now endure.
It’s time for those baby animals to discover new things and make appearances. Would be neat to see a baby hummingbird.
Have a safe trip and stay in touch..... now that you know how.
;o)
Kids going camping late this afternoon for the weekend, me? Staying here, not my game at all any more, age outscores these things now a days.
Needless to tell you that you breakfast looks so very good, gthe more I look at it, the hunger pain start working.
Toby
I think I may get my bird seed from our local feed store this winter. I have a couple of new types of weeds this year that I have never had here (one is the dreaded knotweed and the other the awful stinging nettles) and I think that it must have come from the bird seed from Walmart, even though we get the more expensive one. We have a local feed store and a Tractor Supply the next town over.
It was so very, very tiny. I will be in touch. I am the world’s worst passenger, not because I back-seat drive, but because I get car-sick. Having something to do will help that.
I am all packed and ready to load. Hubby likes to do that himself so I don’t even bother. If I put something in, he’ll have to take it right back out and put it where he wants it to go. So, I have about an hour and a half now before we hit the road.
And it is a beautiful breakfast, healthy, pretty, and lots.
Good Morning.
Good morning! You are so funny about cutting the grass. If things were quite as you described, I’m surprised the kids would go camping and leave you to your own devices. I’m beginning (!) to suspect you indulge in hyperbole. LOL!
Are you feeling any better now than you were last week?
Tractor supply is the only place we get our seed plus anything “tractorie” that Roomey “needs”. I need a galvanized bucket with lid, so we’re headed there today when we’re in Waco.
We are so sick of the oil spill down here, no looking at good news being reported, just bad. THEN! We feel like the President has something against us, he is doing nothing and I mean nothing to clean it up. Needless to say this is a very bad thing with me and the rest of us. I don't live next to the gulf anymore but in the country but all the memories are there, watching them fade away with the spill.
Toby
I’m very happy you are feeling better. We worry about you.
The neglect of the gulf is absolutely infuriating. I don’t comment very much because it is so distressing. He is crimminally neglectful.
True, so very true..
It's my idea of a perfect way to spend an evening too. I would ask for some cooler weather though here.
Mr HOB gave me an outdoor firepit with a safety lid. ( Of course it's an outdoor pit, what else? ) It sits in my dining room and will, till Mr HOB decides to take it out side. LOL!!
pb, how is your friend for whom we are praying?
As usual, I am a day late and a dollar short.... evryone has left. My chores are almost completed....
Nope, I haven’t left. Actually I have left, but I’m able to connect. So, I’m on the road.
I love that gift of the outdoor firepit. Now, in my family, it would sit there, people would walk around, not sayin’ nothin’ until one day, hubby would complain that I haven’t used it yet. I then would answer that I couldn’t use it because it was in the middle of the living room. His reply would be, “but you haven’t told me where you want it.” My answer to that, “outside! Where else would you put an OUTDOOR fire pit.” Then, he says, “I was just waiting on you.” And I say, “I was waiting on you and not NAGGING.”
And so it goes.
Good for you for getting the chores done. Now the rest of the day can be devoted to our PAR-TEE! Wheee! I’m ready to dance.
I an't get rid of this stinking headache. Took some non-aspitin at 6:45 this mornig but it hasn't worked. On to the good stuff!
Hope you have a safe trip Jem!
lysie, you are too funny. i really like the laundromats in Great Falls Montana; or at least the one we found while there. “Suds and Suds” meant just that - soap suds and beer suds! LOL!!
Thanks, lysie. That helps a lot.
HOB, take a combo of caffine, antihistamin, aspirin and acetaminophen. Watch the max doses of each so you don’t go over. But it helps me cope with mine. The antihistamin usually puts me in bed about 45 minutes after taking it but w/o that combo, the headache would have me in bed with the lights out and no sound and much pain for about 8 - 10 hours.
Headaches are no fun at all.
Thanks Jem, I’ll give it a try later when I can spare the time in bed.
