July 2, 2010

Pulling out of the drive up at the coffee shop the girl utters, "Have a good one".

men who use those plastic sticks on the grocery check out lanes to separate their cans of beets from the next person's bag of apples. A man ought to be able to defend his turf.

when I say "thank you" and the response is "no problem"

Just to add my 2 cents worth, I once had a guy paint my house and his wife actually carried John Wayne’s urine to the lab.

Me too. Ever been westbound from Walnut Creek Ca area to the Caldecott tunnel at rush hour? its an uphill grade where five lanes get pinched down into two tunnel lanes coming out of the inland valley toward the bay area.

Anyone running an older car and associated transmission would do the same but damn; the hostility from the front jumpers is a sight to behold.

Would’ve = “would of”
Could’ve = “could of”
Should’ve = “should of”

Makes my eyes bloodshot when I read these screwups. They’ve (they of?) been written on this forum.

No when it is a contradiction that uses ‘ve it is a shortening of have as in
would’ve=would have.
