"Summer has arrived." +++++++++++++++++++++++ I couldn't even plant until 4 weeks ago but things are thriving now. Got baby peppers, squash and teensy radishes. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The Nanking Bush Cherries are producing just fine. My Red Lake Currants are loaded....and must be picked, STAT!

But...no other fruits other than the GOBS of Black Cap Raspberries I’ve been picking each morning in my ‘secret spot.’ :)

I have a new 4’ peach in a 5 gallon pot, that will go in the ground this fall. It is a replacement for the one I planted out last spring, which never broke dormancy...but it putting up shoots this year from below the graft. At least that one should provide some shade.

We also added a couple of hazel nuts, a cherry, and a butternut this year.

Do they have one that says “Old Marine”?

Will this one do?

It has me thinking about baiting a rat trap with birdseed to whack Band Tailed pigeons aka feathered rats, not to be confused with Rock Doves...

I don't have pics of the newest ones, but here's a few of my older ones:

The outfit I wore when I worked at the Bristol Ren Faire one summer.

A wedding dress currently in search of a wedding :p

My elven ranger costume, from back when I was involved in a LARPing group.

I'm trying to get a picture of my latest creations, but dad's off camping and took the camera.

Especially the American Girl dolls. My little one had a number of them, so I have bought quite a few outfits for her Christmas and B days. Probably the most unusual compliment that I ever recieved was "Boy, You sure have good taste in doll clothes" :)

FYI: American Girl dolls are 18" and each depicts a differant time period in American history, and each has her special friends and a personal story for each one. They have a website:

Good luck and have fun

They sell them for $5.00 each which is cheaper then washing them and other then the neck stretching on some you can’t wear them out. We wash the old ones and give them to the cancer thrift store each year.. http://oldnavy.gap.com/?

Got a good day of rain yesterday. Everything seems happy except the squash that got eaten way back by the chipmunks.

We could use a good rain here on Humboldt Bay as municipal water is very expensive. I dug my Susanville Garlic Thur and about 15% of them had rotten wrappers but they have a bigger problem than that. Almost all of them set scapes this year but they are a softneck variety so I did some research and find out that because they are a artichoke” variety they can and do set scapes occasionally. I have saved this seed for years and it originally came from Filaree Farm in Oregon...

WE bought a couple of these Candy? Onions...

Various Loose Leaf Lettuce...

Lots of Carrots...
