The Precious Place







The Cul du Sac Cats have a splendidly wondrous place to getaway
Beyond the path that winds through the Trees is an oasis where they can play
Around a babbling stream and a sturdy bridge are patches of glorious flowers
Where the ladies can discuss important events and while away then hours

As the Sun begins its very slow descent and breezes freshen the air
While the youngsters, William and Myrna traverse the bridge with cautious care
Calico Fiona and Siobahn ponder a creature on a wide, floating leaf
Russian Blue Delilah dips a paw near an elusive fish and experiences some grief
As her wily prey with a flick of its tail to disappear

Sly, dark striped Melissa tracks another from a lofty perch without fear
Ignored by Seal Point Toffy, who's focused on a flower blooming wide
Mottled orange Celeste shares the experience equally mesmerized
As wise and Basic Tuxedoed Gretchen watches for an unannounced surprise

I was wondering this morning - HOW did they make those animals mouths look like they were actually singing? (On the video clip I posted.) That is close to perfection, IMHO.
