Go Giants?
(weeping fan...)
I know. We had one particular guy watching that night, a somewhat-obnoxious Cowboys fan who was the loudest cheerer when LT sacked Joe—a big dude, 6’3”, 225, a weightlifter. After the third or fourth replay, he yelled “STOP IT!” and bolted out of the room like he was about to throw up.
Honestly, I’ve never watched the replay since on Youtube or anything like that. I just can’t stand watching that leg snap.
Theismann could be a first-class jerk sometimes, but the man was a good QB, and I hated to see him end his career in a freak accident like that. I did kind of feel for LT as well; he wasn’t knee-hunting, it was an accident, and we could tell it shook him up. It’s a damn shame that Taylor’s turned into a thug and a punch line, because he was something special on the field.

LOL
I met some of the NY Giants of the ‘60’s, they were big, then in the ‘70’s met some of KC players, they were bigger, then met some of the Houston Oilers in the ‘80’s and they were even bigger.
I have been Suffen and there is no there, there!
espn has the arraignment on now
Why? Are they running out of fresh meat in prison?
BS, former WRKO talk show host Reese Hopkins is a friend of mine. All it took was an accusation to get an indictment. All the evidence proves he did not even live in NY where she said it happened.
Well, since I have no earthly idea who "Reese Hopkins" is, I can't comment on his/her specific situation. But, most prosecutors will not prosecute, nor will most law enforcement agencies even effect arrest on the complaint of a witness alone. Most need some other supporting evidence to not just prosecute, but to even make an arrest - ie, physical evidence to include blood, or bruising on the alleged victim or other eye witness testimony. See: Ben Roethlisberger.
LT’S lawyer says there was NO SEX AT ALL...........NONE
interesting.......
I remember that play. He snapped his leg.

“Did he do Thiesman again?”
How did she end up in the hotel with him? That’s what I want to know.
If you don’t take shady women into Hotels with you, you lessen the chance of being charged with rape.

In some of the reporting that has come out subsequent to this very short story, it has been alleged that her pimp brought her to Taylor's room, against her will. Apparently, her pimp has been arrested and charged with several other crimes. ESPN has a lengthy, and updated piece, if you're interested. She is allegedly 15 or 16 years old. 17 is the age of consent, so if she's under that, clearly she's not old enough to consent.

I do remember when Marv Albert slept with Lawrence Taylor, or at least a she-man who looked like him.
There’s a lot more to this story now.
BOR covered it with Megan Kelly.
Girl is definitely underage and was brought into Taylor’s room physically against her will, and beaten-up and he paid for the sex.
Not good for Taylor.
if a guy makes a living by being brutal, its probably not a good idea to be alone with him. Just sayin....
On the other hand, athletes are always a target for the deranged and the greedy. Unless there is real evidence, then this is another he said/she said situation.
The accusation is, she was beaten and forced to be alone with him. This doesn’t look like he said /she said at all. In my state, her age alone would make it an aggravated rape charge. Grown ups should act like grown ups
I agree. At the time I wrote that, I didn’t have any of the details.
Latest info is she’s 16 (age of consent is 17) and was forced into prostitution.
Unless he wasted all his money LT can afford Elliot Spitzer style escorts. But he instead he trolled for jailbait.
