Former Giants great Lawrence Taylor was arrested today for allegedly raping a woman at a Rockland County hotel, authorities said.

True -- the team has managed to keep a very capable management group together for the football operations. Jerry Reese has been one of the most underrated general managers in the NFL over the last few years.

The irony is that the Giants were one of the most highly-prized tickets in the nation even when they were among the worst teams in the NFL. That has changed a lot in recent years.

Sorry but if he was in a hotel room alone with a 15 year old girl he should have known better than to put himself in that situation. So any denials now are hard to believe if it is proven she was in that room.

As for L.T. I hope he didn't do this and he deserves his day in court but if he did then he should die behind bars.

Doesn't matter what he says - if she is really 15, and if his semen is anywhere on her body, and if the prosecution can avoid an OJ jury, then he is looking at hard time.
 
As far as I know, the prosecution shouldn't even have to worry about questions of "intent" - at the age of 15, if nothing else, it's at least a slam-dunk statutory rape case.

IF he's guilty. I'm no LT fan, but I take nothing for granted these days, especially after that fiasco with the Duke lacrosse team members. It needs to play out.
