I am at home and I slept for all fo TWO hours last night. I'm hoping some MORE sleep meds will kick in. But I'm filling a garbage bag which is all JUNK MAIl but the girls couldn't tell from the outside.

A number of shocks have hit s. California this afternoon with the quakes probably centered in Mexico.
And....another season of baseball underway!

Zinnias make great cut flowers. I would hate to distract from the beauty of that gorgeous tree though.

Batten down the hatches, Gee. There’s heavy duty weather sliding your way.
There are reports of buildings on the ground, and roofs ripped off homes North of here. So far,,, we have dodged the bullet.
The weird part is my sister-in-law 4 miles away lost hers 2 weeks ago...
..my daughter lost hers last week...
..and our good friends lost theirs last week too.
My husband, who is not given to conspiracy theories...thinks FPL is doing something with power surges.
And we have been having some power surges.
Do we sound like we need tinfoil?
It's kinda disheartening taking a giant garbage bag and emptying good stuff that's not good anymore & throwing it away....
....just wierd.
Or maybe I'm just tired...:(

Actually, yes, I do. I’m on the ground, well, second story, in AUBURN, ALABAMA! WAR EAGLE!
I landed around 6 pm EDT. BUT, my land transportation didn’t leave until 9:30 and I’m too cheap to pay $12 for 12 hours of internet when I’m only going to use 3 of those hours. Sooo, I let y’all suffer.
If you were tracking CO 6 from Narita to Houston OR CO 656F from Houston to Atlanta you got it right! I did think of Toby and Onyx (isn’t she sometimes from down around Mobile, I could be wrong?).
When I walked in the girls greeted me with, “Don’t worry, Mom. Beth put out all the flames in the towel and ironing board and the firemen made sure there was no other wires heating up. The electrician has already replaced the fuse box, so there is nothing to worry about.” The fire happened this morning.

Are you tired? Your days might be mixed-up? LOL. It’s a little after midnight here and our weather has been beautiful. Warm, sunny and no humidity, although I think we’re supposed to get some rain tomorrow afternoon. I know you’re happy to be with your family!!!!
No. To me, it sounds like you need to put your refridgerators on surge protectors (like many do for their computers). It helps protect against wild voltage fluctuations. We do that in Papua.
Ahh, good. Thanks for checking in. Yup. Everything seems to be all right. At least the house didn’t burn down. The cars are covered with pollen! Sheesh.
My days and nights are really mixed up. I think I’ll take a pill and try to go to bed soon. I have so much stacked up mail. I’m sure I’ll be trashing 95% of it. But that 5% is probably VERY important.
