It was not Susan Sarandon's night at The Box, where throngs of partygoers stayed from late Thursday into the early morning to help the Lower East Side burlesque club ring in its third anniversary.

Sarandon, who recently separated from Tim Robbins, got an unpleasant party favor when transsexual performer Rose Wood vomited on stage directly onto the Oscar winner.

A witness reports, "She actually handled it very well. She was laughing while a bunch of guys came over to towel her off."

Well, she doesn't look so hot today. I used to think she was hot, when she was young, until she made the trip to Vietnam and sided with the communists. I always saw her as ugly after that. Most people are influenced by a person's character when it comes to good looks. Once you find out they are totally screwed then you see them as ugly.

However, there are always some guys(and women too)who will jump anything that looks like the opposite sex. Why worry about it, it doesn't affect you one way or another?

My point was that perhaps you need to take the "rough" treatment around here with a grain of salt. We consider each other as FRiends on the same team and not adversaries. That's why the teasing is so heavy at times between those that know each other.

It is also why people who seriously attack other FReepers are warned and then zotted if they don't quit. We, as a forum and according to Jim's rules, don't tolerate serious personal attacks. It's not done. Repeated offenses result in banning.

Just so you know, I really haven't seen any posts here (except those *explicitly* telling you off) that weren't meant in jest.

Of course. Two people can't have the same screen name. It just bugs the sh*t out of me when a group jumps on one person. Usually I'm defending someone else from this crap. Since grade school I've have bad experiences with this. I went to a mostly black and puerto rican junior high and had to deal with this sh*t all the time. Feels even worse when it's coming from your supposed friends.
