"24" Themed Countdown Clock (1 Minute)
Set in New York City, "Day Eight" unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations as President Allison Taylor (Jones), alongside new chief of staff ROB WEISS (Chris Diamantopoulos), negotiates international security with OMAR HASSAN (Anil Kapoor), a determined Middle Eastern leader visiting the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. As the new day begins, an upgraded CTU operates under the command of M.B.A.-schooled, razor-sharp head honcho BRIAN HASTINGS (Mykelti Williamson), who supervises quirky CHLOE O'BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub), expert data analyst DANA WALSH (Katee Sackhoff) and systems analyst ARLO GLASS (John Boyd).
COLE ORTIZ (Freddie Prinze Jr.), an ex-Marine who wants to follow in Bauer's footsteps, leads field operations while Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching) returns with an agenda of her own. Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, 24 is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions.

Couldn’t the loser Prex have pardoned him and given witness protection? I couldn’t stand her from hour one. Logan was incompetent to the end...couldn’t even kill himself.

Great ending...
I will miss you all on this..the greatest Live Thread in Freeperdom...I will miss you all as much as I will miss 24 and Jack Bauer!
This show has meant so much to me in the perilous and often depressing times we have. It gives hope that we have these courageous patriots!
Thanks Guys!!

I cAN NOT EVEN IMAGINE THAT...
You are right...this was special!

I remember the premiere of 24, right after 9/11. They delayed the premiere and there was the big controversy that the show would be too violent for what the country was going through. I remember that! It was supposed to start in late September or Early October, but FOX held it until after the World Series was over in November.
I never missed an episode.
What a great ending. Not just this episode but the last 7 or 8 leading up to it. Well done.

Oh I’m sure someone will step up! LOL Hopefully I will be able to lurk. It depends on how much I get done.

>>Let the EMMY hype begin between 24 and Lost. I hope!<<
My niece who was a Lost addict said that she regretted wasting 6 years of her life on the show. She hated the ending.

I am the sappy ‘I hate good-by’s’ type and this feels like a friend is leaving tonight. I know it’s just tv and life will go on, but Jack Bauer gave us hope that someone, somewhere is out there getting things done.

I didn't find out about the show until after Day 2. I Bought Day 1 and Day 2 on EBay... watched ALL of DAY 1 over a Memorial Day weekend... watched Day 2 in about 2 weeks.... Haven't missed an episode since.
I just can't believe it's over....
