Good morning, Mayor.
Thank you for bringing us another lesson from ODB.
Yesterday’s lesson with the reference to the baseball card was of interest to me. I followed this story from start to finish as it ran in our local newspaper. It was nice to read of this happening to one of our local people.
Thank you for being here for us.

Thank you, Conor.
Today’s contribution by MamaBear was a rerun from 2-19-2009.
I thought it was pretty enough for another look.
Hope you are having a wonderful day.

Thank you, Jaycee.
I enjoyed Lori’s Opening again. We’ve had so many great Openings that is would be a shame to only see them once.
Hope you are having a restful day. Make it a good one.

How sweet that little puppy is!
" Built-in Snowshoes."
LOL I don't have galoshes or snowshoes (because we don't need them often enough here!), so when I took the dogs for a walk Monday I put a plastic grocery bag over each boot and taped it around the top so it would stay on. My feet stayed warm (wool socks) and shoes stayed dry even though the snow was over the top of my shoes. :)
To: yorkie
Thanks, yorkie. That little dog is really tellin' it. :)
P.S. What a sweet little lapdog you posted. LOL

I think periwinkle is the most beautiful color of all! I won't argue with that. It's not as easy to find when shopping, but I am always drawn to it when I do see it.

"I would love to be sitting under that tree with a good book."And I would love to be sitting under that tree with a fishing pole and some healthy worms. LOL!
I'll bet one or two would like to be sitting under that tree with a romantic love next to them, others might like a picnic basket with fried chicken, deviled eggs and a bottle of chilled wine, some would like to have their lap-top, and others might settle for a quilt and pillow. (*grin*)

I am so tired of these one sided hearings.
I think it is time for CHOCOLATE!!!I cut this recipe off a box of brown sugar
Over thirty years ago.
WARNING!!!
It is very dangerous to make it while alone.
It is impossible to stop with one bite!
Or two, or three....
Upside-Down Chocolate Pudding
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
2 Tablespoons oil
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups boiling water
Sift flour; measure; add baking powder, salt, sugar and 3 T. cocoa.
Sift together into mixing bowl, add vanilla to milk
Then add this with the salad oil and nuts to dry ingredients.
Stir until well blended.
Turn into 8 x 8 square pan.
Mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
Sprinkle over batter.
Pour hot water over entire surface.
Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Spoon out while warm, upside down onto plate.
Top with whipped cream or ice cream
(or both!)
Makes 8 - 10 servings, or ONE, if you are alone!

Oh yum! That sounds and looks so heavenly. I can almost taste it this moment. I will have to have company before I dare make it here alone.

GOODNESS.
DIDN’T REALIZE that many of you Dear Hearts knew!
Prayers that I get through my two teaching classes without any rushes to the throne room would be nice. Seems to be OK today! Was a riot Tues.
Praise God and Thanks for PeptoBismol!
LOL.
