And I would love to be sitting under that tree with a fishing pole and some healthy worms. LOL!
I'll bet one or two would like to be sitting under that tree with a romantic love next to them, others might like a picnic basket with fried chicken, deviled eggs and a bottle of chilled wine, some would like to have their lap-top, and others might settle for a quilt and pillow. (*grin*)
Dreams for each of us. :)
I cut this recipe off a box of brown sugar
Over thirty years ago.
WARNING!!!
It is very dangerous to make it while alone.
It is impossible to stop with one bite!
Or two, or three....

2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
2 Tablespoons oil
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups boiling water
Sift flour; measure; add baking powder, salt, sugar and 3 T. cocoa.
Sift together into mixing bowl, add vanilla to milk
Then add this with the salad oil and nuts to dry ingredients.
Stir until well blended.
Turn into 8 x 8 square pan.
Mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
Sprinkle over batter.
Pour hot water over entire surface.
Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Spoon out while warm, upside down onto plate.
Top with whipped cream or ice cream
(or both!)
Makes 8 - 10 servings, or ONE, if you are alone!
