Used to work with a carpenter named Plumber and a plumber named Carpenter. The electrician surname was Pipes.
My high school librarians name was Carrie Hunt. Exchange her first and last name initials to see why we had fun with it. And if you're reading this, Ms. Hunt, no harm intended.

When I was growing up, there was the Onion family in town, whose father, Byrd Onion worked with my Dad for a while. Mr. Onion had two daughters that he was constantly raving about, Maggie and Velma.

According to my Dad, both girls fell out of an ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Or perhaps were hit by a speeding semi truck right in the face, or something equally disfiguring. He referred to them as Maggot and Vomit, and there was no end to the sarcastic descriptions of what might have caused the facial disfigurement in both girls that he could bring up at will, and reduce me to tears and gasping for breath...

Maggie Onion used to work the milkshake machine at the local McDonald’s, and the only reason that store sold any milkshakes at all was because they could not get a look at Maggie...
