Paula was annoying, but I liked her. I have a dislike for Kara.
Michael had the best performance with kind of an out-of-the-ordinary song. The others were forgettable or flat out lame.

As with all hyperbole, the “truth” is somewhere in the middle.
IMHO, stepping back and listening to the performance, Big Mike hit all the notes well and used his falsetto as an effective counter to his big voice. He wasn’t pitchy and was at least interesting.
It wasn’t until afterward that I realized it was a chick song. But that explains my sudden craving for an Appletini...
I think Mike was channelling that moment in his wifes labor, when giving birth to his daughter...when every woman grabs her spouse by the balls and glares....and screams “YOU DID THIS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Yes! This is what may have brought Kara to tears.....not being a mother and Mike’s labor screams touched a nerve.
